Summer does not spoil Ukrainians with hot weather yet. Therefore, many are actively refusing booked hotel rooms in Ukrainian resorts. In the case of, for example, Odessa, perhaps this is the right step. The sea is really very cold there now. But in the resorts of the Azov Sea - the situation is like during the velvet season. The sea is warm and the beaches are half empty. True, this oil painting began to spoil the jellyfish. They are already in the Azov waters.

Berdyansk: no rain, but jellyfish appeared

Irina Kovalenko's family arrived in Berdyansk Saturday, June 12th. It was the first sunny day in the whole week. “You brought us the sun from Kiev,” - the neighbors at the recreation center joked. And now, after 4 days, the weather has never failed. “Sunny, comfortable. There is no heat, the temperature rises to a maximum of 27 degrees during the day, ”says Irina. At the same time, almost every day the weather site "draws" rains with thunderstorms and the maximum temperature of 22-23 degrees. “Recently I went by taxi, and the taxi driver said that some cyclone was raging near Berdyansk. In the village, just a few kilometers from the city, yesterday the rain was like a wall. At the same time, not a drop of rain fell in Berdyansk. This is probably why the weather site shows such a bad picture that scares off tourists, ”says Irina Kovalenko. As a result, people massively refuse the reserved seats.

 “I have been going to Berdyansk in June for four years in a row. So I have never seen such empty beaches. Even last year, when in June many were afraid to go because of the coronavirus. The fact that people are small is a big plus for vacationers. You swim, and no one tries to hit you with a heel. The only drawback is that on the beach in Liski, cafes, in which the first and second courses were prepared last summer, did not begin to work fully. They sell only pasties, sausages in dough. At our recreation center you can order only breakfasts and lunches. But for dinner you have to go to the city. Or order pizza, ”says Irina.

As for the sea, according to Irina, it exceeded all her expectations. The woman thought when she rode that it would be cold. After all, the days were cool. But the water turned out to be warm - somewhere around 23-24 degrees. The wind drove a warm top. “The first days of rest were just enjoying the sea. Warm, small waves, few people. But yesterday jellyfish appeared. They are very small, white, but still unpleasant, ”says Irina. A woman is resting in the Liski microdistrict, and there are few jellyfish on the beach. “But in the area of ​​the Berdyansk Spit there are already a lot of them - this is what other vacationers who went to the spit tell,” says Irina.

Odessa: not a day without rain

Alexander Kiriyenko and his wife went to Odessa this weekend. Rented a hotel room near Luzanovka beach. Alas, the rest did not go well. “Not a day without rain. Today, June 15, it has already rained 4 times. Thunderstorm three times. By the evening, it seemed, the weather cleared up, my wife and I went to a restaurant. A table was set for us on the terrace. As soon as they sat down, it rained again, ”complains Alexander. The sea, according to him, is colder - 16 degrees. Although there is a sign on the beach that the water temperature is only 11 degrees. “I think it was installed by the rescuers who work there. Especially so that the people do not climb into the water. At the same time, the weather site shows that the sea off the coast of Odessa is 18 degrees. But this is not true. It is colder, ”Alexander Kiriyenko shares his impressions. In his opinion, if you go to the Odessa resorts, then in two weeks. While there, you can only drink mulled wine - to keep warm.

Schastlivtsevo: warm sea, but strong wind

Svetlana Kulikova rest with the whole family on the Arabat Spit from 1 to 13 June. The first few days, the rest was not entirely comfortable. “The sea was warmer than the air. The water temperature was about 22 degrees, and the air temperature was 19-20, ”the woman says. But then life got better. It got warmer and the family was able to enjoy the beach holiday. The only but. At this time of the year, strong winds blow in the area of ​​Schastlivtsevo. “A couple of times my hat was torn off my head. But we quickly got used to it. For me, a strong wind is better than crowds of tourists on the beach, ”Tatiana assures. And there were very few people. The Kulikov family were the only ones who lived in the recreation center, which had 15 rooms. “But when we were leaving, they occupied five rooms this weekend,” says Tatiana. But it's all the same - a drop in the ocean. Schastlivtsevo has a wide beach and a long coastline. There was a lot of space on the beach even during peak season. What can we say now, when so few people go to Ukrainian resorts.

As for the jellyfish, during the rest Tatiana did not see a single one. “I was told by my acquaintances that there are already quite a few of them in Kirillovka. But on Arabatka we, fortunately, did not encounter them. But a couple of times I saw sea snakes there. We swam near the shore, ”Tatyana recalls.
