The Dargins are a kind of Dagestan community that first appeared in the 16th century. In those periods, the Dargins were divided according to locations into alpine, mid-mountain and foothill. The term "Dargin" was formed with "dargan", which means "population, group" in Russian. In 1921 g. the very famous Dagestan ASSR arose, and the Dargins also became part of the republic.

According to cult beliefs, this people is considered Mohammedans, worshipers of Allah. Of course, the Old Believers also believe in various other deities as well as spirits, like Kuna, Moyu, and others. These people constantly record early Muslim holidays, make state feasts, and perform ritual dances.

The classic work of the Dargins is just the raising of cattle, tillage, processing of logs, and clay and blacksmithing. According to the foundations, representatives of the stronger sex in the family plowed the steppe and grazed sheep, and girls carried out service according to housing, raised a child, prepared foodstuffs and took care of cattle. Today the people also produce family grape wine and cheese from milk.

The state attire of the Dargin representatives of the stronger sex consisted of a shirt in a version of a tunic called a heva, also sharbar trousers, cut out as in most cases. These things were sewn from cotton fabric or wool, colors dominated: blue, black, grayish. This introduced an association with this people.

The men's half-jacket is equipped with a low collar - also durable internal pockets according to the sides, placed slightly further than the waist.

For the holidays, the Dargins, representatives of the stronger sex and girls, had special headwear prepared, deliberately swept away for the purpose of festive pretexts.

I would like to note that this communal system was very hardworking and cheerful. They all loved their own business and their own traditions.
