This expression has always amused me.
What does taken away mean? Is he an animal? Or was he ill and unable to resist when they took him away?
I cannot understand how and where it is possible to DRIVE an adult, conscious person from where he feels good.
I understand that it is easiest for women who have faced betrayal to blame the one who took her place.
But what about the husband who was taken away?
To begin with, when such situations occur, most mistresses do not even know that their chosen ones are married. It happens for several months and even years they are in the dark. And when they find out, they are either hopelessly in love and attached, or even worse, pregnant.
But, even if a woman deliberately goes into a relationship with a married man, let's be honest:
She does not do bad things, you are nobody to her, your children are on her side, and her husband likes it.
Why not?
Only the man who is allegedly taken away is to blame for this situation.
It's all very doubtful to me.
Those who do not want to leave will not be taken away. Men who value relations with their wife will make sure that the missus never, under any circumstances, find out about adultery. And if he suddenly finds out, he will not admit to his deed under the threat of reprisal, he will stand to the last! I assure you.
But if your marriage has been bursting at the seams for a long time, then the situation with the betrayal that you became aware of is most likely a long-planned action. And if you were announced about a mistress, then there is certainly only one option - your husband stopped loving you a long time ago and the other woman has nothing to do with it.
It may seem that I am defending girls who are in the status of mistresses. But this is absolutely not true. I rather regret them and do not understand. But, even more I don’t understand the phrase - “I took my husband away”.
Husbands are not foolish children, and no matter how much you would like to admit that they leave on their own, and no one takes them away, this is so.

Nobody forces them.
