While Marina paid for the goods in the supermarket, her husband Artem stood aside. It felt like they weren't together at all. And when Marina began to put food into packages, Artem went outside. The woman barely crawled out of the store, and her husband stood and lit a cigarette.
“Take the bags, please,” Marina said, while holding them out to her husband.
The man stared at her sternly, as if his wife was forcing him to some illegal actions:

Marina definitely did not expect this, she was confused, the question simply took her by surprise. It became so insulting and at the same time ashamed of her husband. Shouldn't a man help a woman? Shouldn't he be helping, at least physically? Why did she get married if she does everything herself? And, how will it look from the outside: a man goes light, and next to him is his soulmate with heavy bags?
“The packages are very heavy,” Marina squeezed out.
“What now, what if I wasn’t with you?” The man stood his ground.
Artyom understood everything perfectly, and saw how his wife began to get angry, but he insisted on his principle out of principle. “Why do I have to carry these bags? What am I to her a slave, a servant, or maybe a henpecked? She said to carry, businesslike, she will tell me more, ”Artyom thought to himself. He woke up in the morning in a very good mood to train his wife. He really liked it when she got angry. The man turned and walked towards the house.

She hoped to the last that he was joking, but he walked on and on and did not even turn around. But the packages were really very heavy, and Artyom knew about it, because he himself put everything in the cart.
There was nowhere to go. The woman walked towards the house, barely moving her legs. She walked and almost cried, she so wanted to throw those stupid packages. All immersed in her thoughts, she did not notice how she approached the entrance. With the last of her strength, Marina took the last step and literally collapsed onto the bench.
- Marina, hello! - it was a neighbor Anna Nikolaevna.
“Hello, Bab Nyur,” Marina answered.
Anna Nikolaevna was friends with Marina's late grandmother. Then the granddaughter inherited an apartment, and Baba Nyura helped the woman in various domestic issues. For all the time of their communication, this neighbor-grandmother became for Marina, like a native.
“Come on, I bought you some sweets here,” Marina said.
Anna Nikolaevna had a small pension, and Marina periodically brought her various goodies. Already in her apartment, Baba Nyura saw what products were in the bag and shed a tear, there was everything that she loved so much, but could not afford for a long time. The neighbor thanked Marina, and she went to her house.
- And where are our packages? - the husband came out to meet Marina, already chewing something.

Artyom blushed, clenched his hands into fists, but the woman had already gone into the bedroom to collect his things. The man did not expect this, he began to make excuses, of course, he did not want to leave:

The woman was well aware that such an act of her husband was only the first bell, and it would only get worse. And she decided to immediately stop Artyom's inappropriate behavior. Better alone than with such an unscrupulous!
