Hello to all channel readers Beauty viewer! My name is Lisa and today we will analyze a burning topic for many women - how to wash their hair less often.

For me, it is very relevant, because my scalp makes me wash my hair every other day, and sometimes every day. In order to somehow postpone the moment until the next shampooing without losing the freshness of my hair, I resort to some nuances.

I want to say that I had a trichologist and I have no problems with excessive production of fat, everything is within the normal range.

1. Scalp peeling

If everyone is used to shampoos, conditioners and masks and uses them at every wash, then many do not even know about peeling.

But in vain, the tool is very useful! It helps to not only prolong the freshness of the scalp, but even speed up hair growth or reduce hair loss.

I have already written in more detail about the importance of peels. Here I will tell you briefly, and at the end I will leave you a link to the article, it is important to read it to every woman who takes care of her hair.

The peelings contain AHA acids, which are responsible for skin renewal, that is, they gently remove the stratum corneum and cleanse it.

In addition, peeling improves the functioning of the sebaceous glands and blood circulation. That is, when using peels, the scalp is better cleansed of sebum and dirt, which allows it to stay clean longer.

Scalp peels come in several formats: lotion, masks, sprays and shampoos. The choice depends only on your preferences, recently I have been using a scrub shampoo, it works quickly and perfectly.

2. Dirty hairbrushes

Hairbrushes are ignored even more often than peels. However, the dirt accumulated on them can contribute to the rapid contamination of the hair and scalp.

A lot of dirt and dust accumulates on our hair, it is invisible to the eye. But this does not mean at all that it does not exist.

Part of the dirt and sebum during brushing remains on the comb and accumulates more and more every day. Therefore, combing clean hair, we get it dirty to some extent with a dirty comb.

You need to wash the combs at least once a week, if the head becomes dirty by the evening, then you can wash it more often, two or three times a week.

To wash your combs, you will need a shampoo, such as one that does not work for you. And also a couple of minutes of free time. Before washing, be sure to clean the comb of hair, lather it with shampoo and clean each row with your fingers.

3. Water is too hot

Hot water is not the most beneficial for our hair. Those who like to wash their hair under such water - please read this paragraph carefully! Because by reducing the temperature of the water, the quality of your hair will improve dramatically.

The ideal temperature for shampooing is slightly warmer than body temperature - 38 ° C. The water should not be hot because it irritates the scalp, washing away any accumulated oil from the hair.

You might think above that I recommend using exfoliation to cleanse your scalp better. But unlike hot water, it does it delicately, without causing harm. Hot water washes away all fats indiscriminately drying out the skin and hair. And when we dry out the skin, its protective function turns on, and even more sebum is produced. From which, in fact, the head gets dirty even faster.

4. Do not wash your hair

There is one misconception that is passed down from generation to generation - you can teach your head to wash it less often.

No, this is not how it works! Wash your scalp as it gets dirty so you don't train your scalp to produce less sebum. By using the tips above, you can prevent your scalp from producing more of it than it needs to.

If you do not wash your hair on time, sebum will accumulate on the scalp, and this is food for the fungus. malassezia, which will multiply more and more actively. At this rate, you can bring the skin to seborrheic dermatitis in a short time and get dandruff.
