SPF-30 or SPF-50?
In spring and summer, when the sun is especially active, it is best to choose creams with SPF-30 and SPF-50. There is an opinion that the difference between them is very small, but it is fundamentally wrong. SPF-30 neutralizes 96.7% of rays, and SPF-50 neutralizes 98%. However, in the first case 3.3% of the rays reach the skin, and in the second one and a half times less!
For the city (with a short exposure to the sun), you can use SPF-30, especially if there are no significant skin problems. If you know you will be in the sun for a long time, choose 50.
Are there any exceptions? Yes. There are several skin phototypes, each phototype has its own reaction to sunburn, different disposition to pigmentation, its own safe time in the sun. High-quality protection of the cream is protection from both UVA and UVB rays. It is important! UVA are those rays that are available at any time of the year and in any weather, even cloudy. They do not cause redness and tingling, and therefore we do not even feel them physically. Therefore, it seems to us that we are not exposed to ultraviolet light at the moment when they affect us.
UVB is exactly the kind of rays that cause redness and burns. Snow White especially suffer from them, I always have a strong reaction to the sun. UVB rays are aggressive and cause many problems. I, for example, do not sunbathe, but burn.
A good cream protects against both types and this is always indicated on the box! In addition to the specified SPF, we are looking for the UVB and UVA labels in the circle. Or RA ++++ (this mark is found on Asian media).
When to apply cream with SPF: before or after makeup, how long before the release and whether you need a cream under it

It is often advised to apply filters 20 minutes before leaving the house, so that the cream "sits on the skin" well. The cream begins to work immediately, not after 20 minutes, therefore nothing criminal if you inflicted just before you run out of the house.

I also love SPF CC creams, especially those that are specifically made specifically for sun protection. That is, mineral pigments are added to the cream with SPF. I don't like using many layers in warm weather.
