Cleaning stereotypes that prevent us from living

What do you associate the word "cleaning" with? For most people, this is a real hard labor that becomes inevitable and regular. But this is absolutely not the case. It's just that we were brought up that way, we were given some rules that we had to follow. But in fact, there are some stereotypes about cleaning, which turn our attitude to household chores into a real hard labor!

Cleaning stereotypes that prevent us from living

Forget it and live in peace

The most important thing is to wash the floors

Not true. If you now rinse the entire floor with a wet rag, but do not remove dust from shelves and other surfaces before that, your house will soon become dirty again. So it is important not to wash the floors, but to wipe the surfaces from dust, and then you can move on to cleaning the floor. And, by the way, very often it is not necessary to clean the floors at all, do it as needed.

It is much better to use a vacuum cleaner at all, it will effectively clean the floor, and, if necessary, you can then walk with a damp cloth over hard-to-reach places. But, if you wash the floors and do not wipe the dust, then you will clean up 2 times more often.

Ironing is a must

Another stereotype that is time to forget. Our parents made us iron everything - bed linen, jeans, shirts and even panties. Now the "era of the iron" has faded into the background. Carelessness is in fashion, so there is no need to iron every element of your wardrobe to perfect evenness. I do not argue, many just like to iron, then I cannot take it away from you, iron it to your health! But, and to the rest I will say that there is no urgent need for ironing, and you can relax!

Children don't have to clean up

There is a category of mothers who simply do not allow their children to clean. This category branches into 2: one thinks the child can't do anything anyway qualitatively, so let it not interfere, the second is sure that you cannot torment your child, she will have time picks up. Years go by, and mothers and those, and these are surprised why their children do not help them in anything, and do not know how to do anything. But adults themselves are to blame!

You can see what psychologists write about this. Even from two years of age, a child can be involved in joint cleaning. He can, for example, dust off the shelves. Yes, even if it is of poor quality, crooked and useless, but do not tell him about it, let him feel that it is beneficial.

It is imperative to carry out a general cleaning

What did our parents mean by the phrase "general cleaning"? The most brutal marathon for the whole weekend with a full "lick" of the entire apartment. But, if such cleaning is carried out on weekends or before the holidays, you can strongly and permanently embroil all family members. It is not right.

There is no need to plan such an "event" for the weekend, all the more no need to spoil everyone's mood before the holidays. Plan everything in advance for a full month. And gradually it will be possible to achieve the ideal state of your home. Today you take apart the contents of the cabinets, after a few days you wash and clean all the carpets, wash the curtains, and after a while you are finishing the kitchen. How can you do all this in a couple of days? No, or you will have time, but in what state will you be?

It's time to reconsider your view of cleaning, and get rid of the stereotypes that have long been embedded in our heads. By the way, do not forget that there are cleaning companies that can shorten your cleaning time and clean your house even in the most inaccessible places!
