Severe nausea: TOP-3 non-obvious reasons

Severe nausea is not always an indicator of pregnancy.

Largely cause this state is completely different. And you may not even expect why you really feel bad. And the reasons are simple.

Hunger

Let's start with the simplest. When a person does not eat for a long time, the amount of sugar in the blood decreases. Especially if the last thing you ate was carbohydrates (even harmless cookies). By the way, fast carbohydrates are more likely to cause nausea cramps and irritate your stomach more. This can cause nausea and dizziness. If this is the case, try eating complex carbohydrates such as brown bread or a serving of fresh fruit. Avoid eating fatty or protein foods - they do not raise sugar levels and can slow down the absorption of carbohydrates.

Dehydration

Even a minimal lack of water in the body can lead to nausea. If, in addition to unpleasant spasms in the intestines, you feel severe weakness, dizziness or confusion, this already indicates severe dehydration.

Ear infection

If you experience ear pain along with nausea, this may indicate an infection. The brain immediately receives a signal that the pressure in one ear is different from the other. This causes dizziness and nausea. If you notice a change in hearing, congestion, headaches and fever, go to the otolaryngologist.
