The correct gazpacho at home: recipe step by step
Gazpacho is a cold tomato soup that is a real savior in the hot season.
Benefit gazpacho is not only cold and refreshing, but also low in calories. There are only 35 calories per 100 grams of soup. Also an invaluable plus of the soup is its cooking speed. Gazpacho can be done in just 20 minutes.
Ingredients:
- Bulgarian pepper - 3 pcs.
- Tomatoes - 1-1.5 kg
- Bulb onions - 1 pc.
- Garlic - 3-4 cloves
- Ciabatta - 3 pieces
- Wine vinegar - 2 tbsp. spoons
- Salt to taste
- Ground black pepper - to taste
Cooking method:
- First, you need to bake sweet bell peppers in an oven preheated to 200-220 degrees for 10-15 minutes.
- Next, pour boiling water over the tomatoes for a few minutes and peel off the skin.
- Remove the peppers and sprinkle with sea salt.
- Then peel them off the skin.
- Peel the peppers and cut into strips.
- Add chopped onions, garlic and bell peppers to the tomatoes.
- Whisk with a blender.
- Add a few pieces of ciabatta or pita bread, wine vinegar, salt and ground black pepper.
- Kill the finished gazpacho again with a blender.
- Now you need to chill the soup in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.
Advice
It is best to choose pink tomatoes. They are the ones that give a sweeter and more delicate flavor suitable for gazpacho.
