But in America, people can safely return what they bought, even without explaining the reasons. There is only one reason: I want to return the money. In most of our stores, they will twist a finger at your temple and say that there is no return. And we ourselves are always "uncomfortable", we are afraid that later they will look at us askance.
Wear comfortable and comfortable clothing
In America, you will not find a woman who, in order to go to the store for food, dressed in all the best. She would rather wear what she is used to wearing, what brings convenience and comfort. And our women for the sake of beauty are ready to wear tight shoes all day, and then in the evening to find lacerated wounds on their legs. Our people are trying to dress in expensive status items to impress. In America, people live with the status: "to be, not to seem."
Knock on others
All of us here in Russia are afraid to go and complain, for example, to our neighbors to the district police officer, or to our colleague's boss. In America, this is a common practice, and there everyone knocks on each other. And the point here is that this is an elementary respect for oneself and one's comfort. Ours are accustomed to being silent in a rag, while whining to their friends that there are extortions in the kindergarten, that teachers at school underestimate their grades, that the shop assistant is rude.
Accept compliments and smiles
In our country, people are very embarrassed when compliments are made to them. In America, this is common. If in Russia people are used to criticizing each other, for example, for an inappropriate outfit, then in America they try to notice something, on the contrary, pleasant, and emphasize it. But the fact that Americans constantly have a smile on their faces is not at all hypocrisy, but the most real friendliness.
Do not iron the laundry
To be honest, even if I have an expensive multifunctional iron, I hate ironing. And what was my surprise when I found out that American women don’t bother with ironing at all. For example, they do not iron bed linen, but buy with elastic bands, which stretches on the mattress and looks even. As for clothes, it is cheaper for Americans to go to a dry cleaner, where they will both wash and iron them. Also, most Americans have tumble dryers at home, from which the laundry comes out very even. We, of course, have washing machines with steaming and drying, but few people spend money on them and continue ironing ...
Early morning rise
Indeed, almost all Americans are used to getting up at 5-6 in the morning. It is easier for them to do all the important things in the morning, leaving the day or evening to rest. While in Russia, people often leave their important affairs for later, and sometimes they are completed late at night.
