What is the difference between spring and winter scents? Is it so important to change fragrances according to the seasons?
Everything is very simple. Heavy, intense, bright, very sweet aromas are good for the cold season. In a warm season, they can choke, be intrusive and open up not with a beautiful playing of notes, but with weapons of mass destruction of others. The lighter and more weightless the scent, the more suitable it is for the warm season. In a damp autumn or frost, they can be lost, become prickly.
In autumn and winter, you can choose oriental, gourmand, rich powdery, balsamic, oud, spicy, leather aromas. In summer and spring
— light floral, fruity, aquatic, citrus, green, aldehyde. Of course, these are pretty general recommendations, you should look at each flavor. There are aldehydes that are best reserved for the fall, for example.Of course, there are many neutral fragrances that can be worn in winter, spring and fall. I call them basic, appropriate almost everywhere and always.

Black Guerlain dresses, alas, are not my story. And even a little sorry. In my wardrobe, a little black dress always occupies an honorable hanger, but in a perfume wardrobe it did not work out with a black dress.
I love Guerlain Mon Guerlain as a winter fragrance, and Mon Guerlain Bloom of Rose — spring.
Mon Guerlain Bloom of Rose Guerlain was released in 2019, worked on it, of course, Thierry Wasser (the main perfumer of the house Guerlain, he participated in the creation of about 174 of their fragrances, so you understand) and Dolphin Jalk (she created 21 fragrances for Guerlain).
At the start, there are very juicy and beautiful citruses, which are quickly joined by slightly tart green notes. In the pyramid, green notes are not declared, but I feel them. Gradually, the aroma becomes softer, the pleasant tenderness of the Bulgarian rose appears.
For me, a rose is not my favorite ingredient, it can be very difficult for me to make friends with it. I definitely don't like pink mono fragrances, and sometimes the rose in the composition seems to add something age-related. Here somehow everything turned out well for my perception, such tenderness is felt, just lovely!
I don't feel lavender at all, no matter how hard I tried, but I didn't find it there. Here at Mont Guerlain, Mont lavender is so lavender, but here they obviously did not put it to me)
The aroma is airy, resonant and slightly watercolor, closer to the base the rose is slightly powdered, becomes cosmetic and care. Dear. A very feminine fragrance, men like it, there are no notes that repulse them. Despite the concentration of eau de toilette, the durability is excellent, I do not like it when the aroma disappears after an hour.
Quite versatile, I can easily imagine it in the office, on a date, and on a walk. Out of age.
