Making a greeting card with your baby: step by step instructions
If you have already made all the fakes that you could with your child, it's time to show a little imagination and creativity.
We suggest you next time sit down with baby for the greeting card. It will definitely come in handy for you soon. And you just have to work a little on its appearance.
You will need:
- thick blue double-sided paper;
- scissors;
- ruler;
- simple pencil;
- thick white paper;
- colored paper with drawings and patterns;
- glue stick.
Instructions:
- Cut a 15 x 11 cm rectangle out of blue paper.
- Then fold the paper crosswise in half.
- Cut a 14 x 10 cm rectangle from the white sheet.
- Fold the white piece in half across.
- On the side of the bend, make four equally spaced cuts.
- The first two cuts must be identical.
- The third should be 1 cm shorter.
- The fourth is slightly smaller in length.
- Fold the cut pieces by bending them in the opposite direction.
- Unfold the strips and unfold the paper.
- Then cut three rectangles out of colored paper.
- They should be larger than the white stripes in height.
- Also fold them in half.
- Stick to the sheet.
- Fold and unfold the white sheet again so that the lines are more clearly visible.
- Cut out several candles in the form of small rectangles from bright paper, and lights from yellow paper.
- Glue the lights to the candles, and them to the makeshift cake.
- Glue the back of the white paper with glue, then attach it to the blue backing.
