Don't rush to change diaper size
As you know, diapers come in different sizes: from 0 to 6 (the designations may differ from company to company). The weight of the child is written on the packages, for which each size is designed. This can be a rather large range, for example 4 - from 8 to 14 kg, 5 - from 12 to 22.
With each size, diapers become more expensive, so there is no need to rush to jump from 3 to 4 once the baby has reached 8 kg. Focus directly on the child. If the diaper fits well, does not leak, does not press, does not diverge on the baby, then a larger size is not needed.
Don't buy panty diapers
The idea of such diapers looks attractive: they are easier to put on on a restless child, they have a soft belt, they are easy to remove and put on many times if you need to put the baby on the pot. But at the same time they are more expensive. And this is not the only negative.
If your child is really very restless and active, then the belt of the diaper panties will be too insecure to hold on to it. And as it fills, the diaper will sag very quickly.
At the same time, ordinary Velcro keeps the diaper at the desired height much more reliably. And not so quickly start to look crowded.
Buy in large packs and for promotions
It sounds trite, but it is the large packages that will really help you save a lot, even if you have to shell out a large amount for a purchase at a time. And do not be lazy to look for promotions in order to choose the most suitable price, and not just buy diapers at the nearest store.
Also, do not take diapers in pharmacies - there will always be more expensive. Get in the habit of buying diapers for future use if you see a good promotion, even if they are larger than the child wears now.
Try different brands and brand lines
Of course, I want the diaper on the crumb to be of the luxury premium soft class, etc. And with the smallest, it can be justified.
But already from the second month of a child's life, you can experiment. Save the most expensive diapers, for example, for the time when the baby is in one diaper for a long time - for a night and a long day's sleep. The rest of the time, you can use more budget options.
Try several different brands of diapers by purchasing them individually. If the diaper holds the contents, its materials do not emit unpleasant odors, the baby's skin reacts normally, so you can take it.
Suggest giving diapers instead of toys
If guests come to you who want to please the baby with something, let them please with a pack of diapers, just tell them the size you need. This will definitely be a more useful gift than a hastily bought Chinese toy (often not age-appropriate and breaks after 5 minutes).
