For the sake of the life of Sultan Suleiman, Ibrahim was ready to sacrifice his own life. He knew that the sovereign treated him like a brother and companion. But he did not forget that in this country and in the family of the padishah, he is just a slave.
Ibrahim tried to adhere to the laws of the Ottoman state, but he could not control his heart. Ibrahim falls in love with the padishah's sister and is surprised to realize that his feelings are mutual. However, Ibrahim also understood that Suleiman would never give up his beloved younger sister, a pitiful slave. Therefore, Ibrahim was content with short meetings with his mistress and secret correspondence.
Meanwhile, Suleiman dismisses Piri Pasha from the post of Grand Vizier and decides to tell Ibrahim about it. Entering Ibrahim's office, Suleiman finds on his desk a letter with love lines. Suleiman realizes that Ibrahim's heart is torn to pieces. He is between Heaven and Hell. He is hopelessly in love. But to whom?
Suleiman orders the guards to bring the keeper of the chambers to him.
Meanwhile, Ibrahim, in the Sultan's garden, swore to Khatija that he would find a way out and would not allow her to marry the unloved.
The guards grabbing Ibrahim, lead him to the Sultan's chambers. Ibrahim is at a loss. He does not understand what he has done and why the Sultan is angry with him.
Suleiman, taking a dagger in his hands, approaches the kneeling Ibrahim and offers to make a choice: a dagger or a seal. Ibrahim is at a loss. He cannot understand what the master wants from him.
Suleiman, on the tip of a dagger, holds out a seal to Ibrahim and says that now he is the grand vizier - the most important person in the state, after the sultan.
Confused Ibrahim takes the seal and thanks the padishah. However, he still does not understand why the padishah gave him the seal in such an unusual way.
Suleiman congratulates the pasha on his new appointment and explains that in this way, he reminded him that it could be so.
