Spoiler alert: Vaccinations don't cause autism.
Physicians and scientific research suggest otherwise. Autism and vaccinations are unrelated. Moreover, autism is not a contraindication for vaccination, and vaccination does not make symptoms worse.
Why is there a myth about the link between vaccines and autism at all? When a child is diagnosed, it is difficult for parents to come to terms with it - they start looking for reasons. And since the child is small and nothing really happened in his life yet, some begin to mistakenly think that vaccinations are to blame.
The reality is that science does not yet know the true cause of autism. But vaccination, as studies have shown, have nothing to do with it. According to recent reports, autism is a congenital disease.
Why then does autism show up after vaccinations?
On the one hand, this is due to the parents themselves. After all, autism does not begin to manifest itself abruptly - gradually, over 1-2 years, symptoms appear.
But loving parents simply refuse to notice them, attributing everything to the characteristics of the child's character. It is at an early age that children receive the most vaccinations. Accordingly, at some point, parents still admit that the child should be shown to a psychiatrist, and the blame for the baby's condition is blamed on vaccinations. On the other hand, some children tolerate vaccinations with complications. This is rare, but it happens. I have to additionally visit doctors, give injections - the situation is alarming, parents are "on their nerves."
And in such a situation, the characteristics of a child with autism begin to appear more clearly: difficulties in communication, depression, anxiety, etc. But again - not because of vaccination, but because of a stressful situation that has arisen due to complications (they do not appear in everyone and also do not cause autism).
