What to cook for a schoolboy for breakfast: cinnamon rolls

Ingredients:

  • Butter - 10 tablespoons
  • Sugar - 1 tablespoon and 2 teaspoons
  • Salt - 1/8 teaspoon
  • Cold water - 3 tablespoons
  • 4 large green apples
  • 1 vanillin pod
  • Brown sugar - ¼ cup
  • Rum - 1/3 cup
  • 2 bananas

Cooking method:

  1. Whisk flour, 7 tablespoons butter, salt, and 2 teaspoons sugar in a food processor until crumbly.
  2. Pour in cold water and beat 6-8 more times.
  3. Transfer the dough to a cutting board and mold into a ball and then a disk. If the dough is too sticky, add a couple of tablespoons of flour.
  4. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least an hour.
  5. When the dough is done, start preheating the oven to 190 degrees.
  6. Roll out the dough and transfer to a round baking pan. Make a small side of the dough and several holes with a fork, cover the base with foil (grease the shiny side of the foil with butter, which should come into contact with the dough). The foil must be pressed tightly against the dough so that it completely encloses it.

  8. Bake the base for 15 minutes. Let cool before starting.
  9. For the filling, cut 2.5 apples into thin wedges. Melt the remaining 3 tablespoons of butter in a skillet, toss in the vanilla seed and pod, add brown sugar and chopped apples. Cook over high heat, stirring occasionally, until the apples are caramelized (about 2 minutes).
  10. Toss in the sliced ​​banana slices, remove and discard the vanilla pod. Pour this filling into the cooled base.
  11. Slice another 1.5 apples thinly. Place on top of the filling, sprinkle with a tablespoon of sugar and bake the pie for 45-50 minutes, until the apples are soft and lightly browned
