Many people know that on Epiphany eve it is customary to plunge into an ice-hole to cleanse yourself of all the bad things!

But not everyone can do this: to swim in such cold water, you need not only willpower, but also the absence of contraindications (for example, a sick heart belongs to them).

If you cannot or do not want to swim on this day, you can celebrate the Baptism of the Lord differently:

1. Visit the church with a few liters of water, it is considered sacred on this day. Give a few sips to family and friends, the water for Epiphany cleans and heals.

2. Set up a festive table for the whole family to gather. If in your house someone has plunged into the ice hole, then he should start eating first.

3. Try to remember the dream that you will have on the night of January 19. A dream can be prophetic!

4. Say a prayer for recovery on the morning of the 19th.

5. At Epiphany, be sure to ventilate the house, consecrate it with water and sprinkle salt in the corners to protect the family from everything bad.
