There is no cough, but there is pneumonia: how to recognize?

Many people, and especially young parents, are concerned about the topic of pneumonia, since this disease today successfully "disguises" under a variety of ailments, or even completely proceeds for the time being asymptomatic. And there is no "traditional" cough with it, and temperature. But then again - and complications, and what are they! Let's figure it out: why is this? And most importantly, how to recognize the disease in time so that nothing "gets complicated"?

Doctors say that today the absence of cough in pneumonia occurs, and often. However, the first signs of the disease remain unchanged (and it is important not to miss them). It:

- obvious pallor of the skin;

- constant feeling of tiredness, lethargy;

- rapid breathing.

The last point is extremely important and should be given special attention. A characteristic sign of pneumonia is also a sharp and sudden deterioration of the condition, after, it seemed, obvious improvement. That is, the person did not feel well for some time (he thought, most likely, that he had a cold), then he felt better, and he may have gone to work. And then, after a while, he simply "fell down".

It is also important to pay attention to the discrepancy between the temperature and the current state. That is, at 37.5 degrees, the patient feels in a fever and overwhelmed - as if the thermometer on the thermometer crossed the 39 degrees mark.

By the way, if a person has pneumonia, his behavior changes. He loses interest in life, there is an irresistible desire to lie, lie, lie... It is clear that things are not as usual. And not even like "you usually get sick." There may not be a cough, but it is difficult to breathe - as if there is not enough air all the time - the patient breathes frequently (often with his mouth), hisses.

And at that moment, as soon as there was a suspicion, a feeling (call it what you want) that something is wrong, you should go to the doctor for a consultation. Do not delay and do not hope that everything "will somehow go away by itself." Will not work! It will only get worse.

Pneumonia itself is the result of inadequate care for ARVI. Therefore, it is very important to correctly diagnose, prescribe therapy and follow all the instructions of the attending physician, then it will not come to inflammation in the lungs, most likely.

And you should definitely move in order to prevent stagnation in the blood. Not to rush, of course, and not to work in the usual "supersonic" mode, but also not to lie in a layer. Little by little, but to walk, walk from room to room. And be sure to drink. Drinking plenty of fluids is part of the comprehensive treatment for ARVI and pneumonia.

And, by the way, the best prevention of pneumonia is considered to be:

- active walks in the fresh air;

- regular fitness classes;

- daily use of vitamin drinks;

- complete balanced nutrition;

- rejection of bad habits.
