Youth is defined not only by a face with a minimal set of wrinkles or hair without gray hair. For me, this is primarily health, good spirits and constant interest in something new, fashionable or incomprehensible to me.

In my life, I only follow five rules regarding premature aging. They seem elementary and eerily obvious, but many people forget about them. If it seems to you that it is unrealistic to follow these rules with your rhythm of life, then I want to say, my dears, that you simply have no desire to even try.

1. Go to bed no later than 23:00

Only the lazy did not write about the benefits of healthy sleep and it seems that these are all simple truths. Establishing circadian rhythms is almost 99% of longevity and 100% solution to problems with apathy and depression.

It used to be "fashionable" to believe that sleep disturbance (and, accordingly, circard rhythms) is associated with a frantic pace of life at work: a lot of things, we do not have time to go anywhere, stress, etc. Now, as it turned out, in conditions of self-isolation, people also lack sleep or cannot go to bed on time. sleep. A sedentary lifestyle, watching TV series, attempts to educate oneself result, if not in insomnia, then in sleep disturbance at least. A healthy 8-hour sleep is a guarantee of health and youth. With a lack of sleep, your body does not rest and produces poorly melatonin, which plays an important role in slowing down the aging process.

Lack of sleep is reflected on the face, circles and bags appear under the eyes, the complexion becomes dull.

2. It is a crime to apply cream on the face without self-massage!

This is a terribly useful procedure, and most importantly, it is free. Not everyone can afford a massage course of 10-15 sessions, but doing massage is the most profitable and very useful.

Self-massage of the face improves blood circulation, which improves skin tone, relieves swelling, increases elasticity, smoothes fine wrinkles and slows down skin aging. Self-massage of the face implies regularity, only then will you see a positive result.

An attentive reader of my channel will be surprised at such statements, judging by the previous article, where I spoke unflatteringly about the "guru" of Facebook building. I don’t refuse my words: neither massage nor face-building exercises will help you to flee and float the oval of the face. But they are good for preventing early formation of ptosis. 3. Woke up - to charge!

Even 15-20 minutes of charging a day has a positive effect on the entire body. As strange as it may sound, exercising in the morning improves the quality of your sleep, reduces appetite, increases efficiency, and promotes weight loss.

There are several nuances: you should not do strength exercises in the morning, let the body come to its senses a little and wake up. Do light exercises after which you will not be tired.

Back in school, in physical education lessons, we were told that the warm-up should start from the neck and gradually move on to the legs. So in exercise: tilts and rotations of the head, rotations of the arms, tilts of the body, squats, kicks, and finally - a plank for a while. Be sure to keep in mind that the exercises should run smoothly, without sudden movements.

I understand those who now, after reading the third paragraph, will think: "Oh, it starts. Exercising every morning, trivial, everyone talks about it". To give you some motivation to exercise in the morning, just know: you won't be a toxic person to your family, friends, and acquaintances. Even after yesterday's disgusting evening, after which you could not sleep for a long time, chased something in your head or started being rude to people, who are not to blame for anything - after the morning exercise you reboot, you do not rush with toxicity, and in communication you become pleasant for your loved ones.

Exercising in this case (even a 10-minute exercise on an exercise bike) will save you from ailment worse than alcoholism. Because to get rid of toxicity, universal hatred of everything and prolonged projection on negative news (recently, their number has gone off scale), not everyone can psychologist. And in connection with the quarantine, no one even knows how soon it will be possible to sign up for them.

4. The sun's rays and ultraviolet light should not kiss the skin of the face, but a layer of sunscreen!

SPF filters should not be forgotten at any age. The sooner you think about sunscreen, the less your skin will age due to free radicals that rush through all our cells like a hurricane and spoil them.

I had a lot of material about the harmful effects of sunlight on the skin, but even without the sun, you can forget about the production of your vitamin D. And he, by the way, is needed for the formation of the hormonal cascade. Without it, you can forget about normal health (and youth support in particular).

You see how complicated everything is in this world :-) You need to look for a middle ground in everything. And in this case, in order not to rack your brains, you just need to get a sunscreen and remember to use it before going out in sunny weather.

  • To protect the skin, SPF should be at least 30, anything below is useless.
  • If your workplace is near a window or you spend most of the time in the car, this is not a reason not to use SPF creams. UV rays will reach you everywhere and even through glass.
  • SPF foundations and BBs are useless just because you don't apply the right amount of foundation to protect your skin.
  • For full protection against UV rays, you need to apply 2 mg of the product per 1 square centimeter of the face.
  • You need to update the sunscreen every 2-3 hours if you are outdoors.

5. There is never too much moisture!

You can and should moisturize your skin at any age, even oily skin types. Poorly hydrated skin leads to dehydration and premature facial wrinkles.

It is clear that most moisturizers do not penetrate into the deep layers of the skin and remain on the stratum corneum. But damn it, how cool then the skin looks: "nourished", fresh, with an even tone, there is not a single sign of the futility of being on the face!

Why didn't you write "all" instead of "most"? Because there are components that can easily penetrate the dermis. These components are found in creams. Liposomes, essential oils and much more, which we will talk about in the following articles.

Over the years, the skin begins to produce less hyaluronic acid, loses its softness and elasticity (collagen begins to "junk"), which leads to the first wrinkles.

To keep the skin young, it needs to be moisturized and every year more and more intensively, using not only moisturizing creams, but also tonics, serums, mistas and do not forget about moisturizing face masks. The active substances in the serums penetrate deeper than the substances in the cream. Many serums require a cream seal. To maintain the water-lipid balance, external hydration alone is not enough, one must not forget about internal hydration - drink enough water.

Speaking about hydration, we must understand that you need to moisturize the skin all over the body, especially after a shower.
