Gloria Jeans store is more teen-oriented, of course, but with my parameters I have a chance to find something there that I won't drown in. This summer I accidentally taxied there and bought myself trousers, all summer I could not find suitable ones, everything was great. And recently I tried on a new collection of jeans, to my surprise there were also found with good dense denim, I will leave a link to the article at the end. I remember that a couple of years ago there were jeans made of thin and flimsy denim, apparently they decided to work out this flaw.
Unfortunately, the assortment of the store does not make me happy. There are many questions to both styles and quality. Today I will show you a few dresses, and we will think together whether it is possible to wear this.
Author's parameters: 78-60-78, height 158 cm. I took all the dresses in size xxs, it suits me perfectly in all parameters, except for the chest. And not to say that I have voluminous forms, but my husband helps me to get out of the dress. I understand when there is no room for breasts on dresses marked "For Girls", but I also get stuck in dresses "For Women". You might think that xxs has zero breast size. Could this be saving on fabrics?
I'll start with ordinary dresses, leave the leather ones for dessert.
2 long sleeve dresses
Dresses of medium length are 158 cm, on high ones there will be mini, of course. They are for girls, but I decided to flatter myself and try on. Of course, you can write that it is time for women over 30 to give up on this style, otherwise it is called the fashionable word "young" today. To this I can tell you one thing, that everyone should decide this issue for herself. Enough of the strict framework and disapproving head nod in the role of "society" or "expert, necessarily valuable opinion."
By the way, I don’t wear such dresses and in general my strong point is jeans, but if someone wants to - then please. Why YES.
Fitted cut, flared skirt. The dress has a little volume in the sleeves, now it is fashionable, it is not exaggerated here and is suitable for any figure, complexion and age. This sleeve looks at 13, 40, and 70.
There were 2 colors, dark and light, which I liked more, I can't say, not quite mine in both cases. The print is small, it looks like polka dots, but in fact it is something teardrop-shaped. Not the most universal print size, it looks good on a small figure, in this case it is proportionate. For larger girls and ladies, the larger one is preferable.
The top is shirting, there is a collar and 6 buttons.
What I didn’t like was the fabric. It is unpleasant to the touch, the composition is not happy: 75% polyester, 21% viscose, 4% spandex. No ice, you know, dear Gloria. Price: 1499 rubles.
2 dresses with 3/4 sleeves
Dresses with a similar composition, but a slightly different style. There are already three-quarter sleeves with elastic bands, a blind collar and floral print. The colors are again not the most cheerful - black and brown-red (correct if it is called differently).
I do not like these colors, especially in combination with such quality. Looks cheap, the case when the price clearly exceeds the quality. Quite common, agree. The price, by the way, is already higher here - 1699 rubles. Let's add the moment that the fabric is translucent, in sunny weather it will be quite obvious.
Leather dress
This dress is already marked "For women", although the style is similar - mini length, fitted silhouette, flared skirt. T-shirt sleeve, round neck. This neckline looks good on women with small or medium breasts. If the chest is large, it will weigh down the top of the figure, especially if there is excess weight. If there is no excess weight, it may appear. V-necks are good for large breasts, not blind necks.
The leather, of course, is artificial, it is eco-leather. Quality by two. Firstly, the reverse side, which is in contact with the body, does not have pleasant softness, there is no lining, you can see this in the photo in the gallery. Secondly, the name of eco-leather can be rightly replaced by "something like oilcloth". I'm not a snob who buys eco-leather for $ 1000 and doesn't even look towards the mass market. I have a great leather jacket from Lime of a completely different quality, and I know that their leather dresses have a very nice lining, touched myself. The price of the dress is 2499 rubles. Robbery!
