White lace, it turns out, is not only for brides and young maidens. Tatyana exclaimed that in this dress she did not look like a pensioner, but a millionaire. As this example demonstrates, a woman of elegant age can look appropriate in a white lace dress without looking funny or provocative.
Stylists interestingly balanced the delicate image with contrasting black details - pointed shoes and a belt with a buckle. The purse was allowed to be pale blue, without distinguishing it from the background of the outfit.
