It was released back in 1995 and I could not even imagine that I could be interested in a fragrance with such a respectable age, because I am more than absolutely both for vintage and for any hint of retro. But then she just breathed in and disappeared ...
Of course, the Cerruti 1881 that was released in 1995 and the one that was released in, say, 2017 may be different. Requirements for ingredients, standards, and so on change, and it is only natural that fragrances become slightly different over the years. Sometimes the change is not the best feeling, but in the case of Cerruti, everything is very good in this regard. Modern Cerruti 1881 or remake, as it is also called, and successful, and similar to those of the 90s. That would be so with all the aromas, right?
Both my mother and I have a bottle of Cerruti 1881, which means that there are no boundaries for whom it will be appropriate. For everyone, but with one condition, of course. This is the only important condition for me - I must like the aroma. Our perception is often quite stereotyped, I have long expanded my boundaries and I see no obstacles to wearing what I like. Even if this is Krasnaya Moscow, and you are only 17 years old.
Pyramid Cerruti 1881
Then, 25 years ago, the pyramids of fragrances consisted of many notes, in our time the approach of perfumers has become completely different, now there is a striving for minimalism. Although we always remember that the pyramid is more about marketing. And the perfumer does not always declare all the components, sometimes we clearly hear some note that is simply absent in the pyramid. Does this mean that she is not? Does not mean.
A beautiful floral scent, I meet a lot of controversy around its powderiness. Some people see him as powdery, others - absolutely not. For me, for example, it is a little powdery due to the iris, but definitely also a little dusty. And the smell of some good care cream, cleanliness, maybe even a fragrant floral soap, I smell very well.
At first, chamomile and mimosa are clearly heard, but it cannot be said that this will somehow forgive the aroma. The perfumer managed to mix everything so beautifully that he got a real floral waltz, so melodic and gentle.
But there is also a slight bitterness, which does not allow the aroma to slide into something completely weightless, it gives the piquancy that everyone likes so much in Cherruti. The base is noble, woody, making the scent even more elegant.
There are many associations with Cerruti 1881. This is a bouquet of daisies with mimosas and white freesia, the smell of March 8, when there is still snow on the street, but the sun is already shining like spring. This is a bathroom, and maybe even a boudoir, with candles, light music, and you are lying in a warm bath with rose petals and fluffy and very fragrant foam. And then you take out your favorite cream and a broom ...
Now in the fall, my hand suddenly very much reached out to him, I wear it with pleasure both with a coat and with a leather jacket, and even with a jacket, because, despite all the elegance, it does not require any separate outfit and reason. Although both an outfit and an occasion will be perfect.
It was in one of my collection, where I briefly skimmed over it and the readers left a lot of pleasant compliments and warm words. And I'm not at all surprised by this. I bought it at the Magnet Cosmetics store a couple of years ago, but they say that it was removed from sales there, so I will leave it for your widget, and yes, this is not an advertisement, just in case.
