H&M periodically participates in collaborations (collaborates) with interesting brands, last year I reviewed their collection with Pringle Of Scotland, which I liked. And this fall, H&M managed to work with another legendary brand Kangol. If you do not know who this is, I suggest correcting the situation.
Kangol is a famous British headwear brand with a rich history. The Kangol brand was founded even before World War II, namely in 1938 by Jacques Spreyregen. During wartime, the factory produced goods for the armed forces and defense organizations, and as a result, their berets became an indispensable attribute of the British troops. And in the future, their attire could be seen on the guys from the Beatles, Princess Diana, hip-hop performers of the 80s, well, already on modern performers and actors.
If you look at the pictures of the stars of the past, you will notice that the Kangol brand often flashes there.
Hats H&M and Kangol and bag
I propose to start with the strength of Kangol, with hats. There are also typical H&M hats, to which the Kangol emblem and other models are added. The knitted hat is presented in several colors, in our store we had such a mustard green version and a very beautiful pure blue. Blue is just a cannon-bomb, pure colors suit me, they make my gray-blue eyes more blue.
A hat with a pompom is already less warm, suitable for autumn or not a cold winter. I carefully examined the hat, if anything can be neatly eliminated by the pompom, in case you don't like them, but you liked the hat.
Where without the famous Kangol panama hats, it would be strange if this collaboration did not include this model.
About 3 years ago, panamas began to flicker in the lists of trends, as is usually the case, at first they were met by ordinary people far from fashion, rather coldly. But over time, fashionable wardrobes also gained confidence. A soft panama made of artificial sheepskin, which is unlikely to last for years, but looks interesting, was quickly sold out on the site, like many other things, but you can still find it in stores.
There is also the same plush belt bag, which is now worn not at the waist, but in such a way as in the photo. Also sold out on the site. By the way, it was this panama hat and handbag that was most often tried on while I was in the store. I will say right away - there is no practicality in the bag, a light artificial sheepskin will quickly get dirty, and after washing it will lose its fluffiness.
I also found a decoration for the bag - a small fluffy backpack with a lock, which may suit very young people. Fastens to the bag with a metal carabiner.
Socks, scarves, belts H&M and Kangol
The socks are sold in pairs, they are high and look more like knee socks. They have a raised knit, very relevant in 2020, at the fashion show in Milan, for example, there were even tights with a similar knit. We had 2 different sets in our store - light beige socks with striped ones, and the same brown-green (what is the name of this color, correct if that). Bare ankles in autumn and winter are already bad manners, so they don't wear fashionable socks to help you.
Striped scarves, as we can see, just such a strip has become the hallmark of the joint collection, it can be found on scarves, socks, and on a turtleneck. I didn't like the touch of the scarves, thin acrylic.
Kangol logo fabric belt that can be worn over jeans or around the waist on top of a chunky sweater. On the one hand it is black, on the other it is white.

The collection was not delivered in full, as is often the case, so I was not able to measure everything. As a bottom, in all my looks, I have narrowed trousers (or leggings, it's not entirely clear) under the skin, honestly, I don't understand if this is from their joint collection or not. I expected to identify them on the site, but I should have taken a picture of the tag, because I could not find it on the site. But about them, I can say one thing - in them everything vanishes. We sat down not perfectly, but as it is, I show it.
I did not like the oversized striped jumper in terms of quality, it is as thin and incomprehensible as the scarves above. The quality is bad, even somehow offensive for him. It won't stand up to many washes. Of course, such models do not suit me very well, the tucked or shortened version suits me more.
I liked the black jumper more, and in general this is about my style, when I want to dress as comfortably as possible and a little homeless. Yes, I have such a state of mind. The composition is also so-so, the polyester here, by the way, is recycled.
Cropped striped turtleneck, in the photo I showed you this strip closer. Of course, turtlenecks are not worn with such tight trousers; a voluminous bottom would be more suitable here. In this collection, by the way, there were cool joggers, we don't have them, maybe you're more fortunate.
Oversized shirt jacket
I always say in my articles that trends are trends, but you need to focus on your parameters and growth, otherwise the trend will look ridiculous. And there you are. The shirt jacket just shot this fall, this is the most popular trend of the season. But in my case, no trend will help, it is frankly large for me and looks like I am 7 and I pulled my daddy's pea jacket in front of the mirror. My height is 158 cm, so it turned out like this.
