Coloristics — this is a whole science, trusting the hands of professionals is often the best thing that we can do for the beauty of our hair. But, where can we find these professionals when we are all sitting at home for the good of our homeland? I am lucky to have a solid color hair color close to my natural color. Of obvious problems — this is the gray hair, which is why I started to dye my hair. I bring to your attention my experience of home staining. I will be interested in yours too! #It's not boring at home we have no time to get bored, we take care of ourselves)
I use Kapous Professional hair dye, I like their durability, price range, color palette (although over time I became it is not enough, of course), availability (I buy in a store near the house, but now you can find it on the Internet, at the end I will show a few options). She does not spoil her hair as much as household dyes from the supermarket, which I like in the pro — you can choose an oxide, this is very important, I will talk about it below.
For home staining, I needed: a pack of dyes, 6% oxide for roots with gray hair, 1.5% oxide for length, HEC ampoule to protect hair, let's take everything in order.
How to paint over gray roots at home
If you do not understand what an oxide is, I can make a separate detailed article for you. In short, xid (oxidizing agent, oxygenating agent) is what makes the paint work. Depending on the desired result, hair thickness, the presence or absence of gray hair, different percentages of oxide are applied. For gray hair, it is best to take an oxide of at least 6%, there are exceptions, with very thin hair, some colorists work on a C grade, but with their own nuances.
My area of gray hair is small, although I don't think so. In my case, the usual coloring is enough. If you have a lot of gray hair that is difficult to dye or is very easy to wash off, try prepigmentation. With her, paint without oxide is first applied to the gray hair, then it is removed and the hair is dyed in the usual way. I'll add a link to my detailed article at the end.
How to dye your hair at home
I have porous hair and I do not like to dye only the roots, after dyeing the length, the hair is saturated with pigment, thicker and shinier. For the length, I choose 1.5% oxide, it turns out not even coloring, but toning. This is the most gentle option.
First, I dilute the root paint with 6% oxide, using a kitchen scale, I measure out 30 ml of paint and 45 ml of oxide according to the instructions (1: 1.5). I add half of the Estelle ampoule, this is a chromoenergetic complex, it is not necessary, but I recommend it for protection and beautiful hair after.
I apply it to the roots along the parting. Then I quickly stir 40 ml of paint and 60 ml of 1.5% oxide for length and the rest of the ampoule. This is the perfect amount for my hair right now. I just spread it along the length with my hands, blot the strands properly. The brush is hard for me.
Withstand 35-40 minutes, wash off all the jambs on the skin with micellar.
My result
Today I painted in a tone of 5.1 light brown ashy. The color is pleasant, warm under artificial light, very beautiful and cold under daylight. I painted with many Kapus flowers, this one I liked. Hair shines, it has become denser and more pleasant. The gray hair was painted over perfectly. I'm glad.
Girls, girls, women. Let's not be sad, we will bring beauty to the house, because we are not that capable yet! I hug you, do not read the news, read the Business cosmetic bag on Zen)
