This was the case of the British Zoe Lavery, who decided that there was absolutely no need to pour in a huge budget in one single day. She considers buying her dress the best way to save money at a wedding.

Zoe, 31, who has a 10-year-old daughter, had no intention of getting married until she met her lover Andy. But even such an event as a wedding, to which two hundred guests were invited, did not turn her head. She and her future husband decided to get by with a modest, by British standards, budget.
