For many years Meryem lived thinking that her beloved husband was dead. The strong feelings that she had for Kadir could not be extinguished even after twenty years. Every year, on the day of his death, she plunged into memories.
And she asked the same question: Why me?
If he was there, if he was alive... Everything would have turned out differently. Meryem had no idea that it was not Allah who acted so cruelly to her, but her own father and brother.
Twenty years later, Kadir appears in Istanbul and finds Kerim. Only the son is used to considering his father dead, and does not want to understand and forgive him. Kerim also forbids Kadir to meet with his mother, fearing that she simply will not survive such a blow.
Kadir, not wanting to spoil the already strained relationship with his son, does not go against his will, but still tries to persuade him.
And in one of these meetings, everything is resolved by itself.
Kadir once again came to talk with his son, who at that time was living in a hotel. Meryem, worried about her son's condition, decides to visit him, and arrives at the very moment when Kadir was in his room.
Meryem seeing her beloved husband alive and well, she almost fainted. Kerem, frightened for his mother, drives Kadir away.
But Meryem wants to know the truth, why Kadir abandoned her 20 years ago with a small child in his arms, and now he rushed into their lives again.
Meryem secretly from his son, writes off Kadir's phone number from him, and makes an appointment with him. Where she finds out that her brother and beloved father are to blame for her harsh fate.
But will Meryem have enough strength to forgive her husband, because he has very little left to live.
