A friend shared this awesome strawberry pie recipe with me. The baked goods actually turn out to be incredibly tasty considering that the dough is prepared in a matter of minutes. The main ingredient, or rather, the main decoration of the cake, is aromatic strawberries. Although I think that you can try to cook this culinary masterpiece with peaches and pears, or whatever. One has only to want, and everything will definitely work out! So, I'm telling you how I baked a strawberry pie, and you can change the recipe as you see fit!

The pie turns out to be airy, and just perfect for tea drinking with the family. And the guests are not ashamed to put it on the table. So, write it down!

Strawberry pie

You will need:

  • ordinary wheat flour - 250 grams;
  • sugar - 200 grams;
  • fresh unsweetened yogurt - 150 grams;
  • vegetable oil - 60 milliliters;
  • ripe and aromatic strawberries - 350 grams;
  • chicken eggs - 2 pieces;
  • baking powder - 8 grams;
  • lemon zest - from one citrus;
  • icing sugar - by eye.

How to cook:

Let's start, naturally, with the test. First, break 2 eggs into a deep bowl, add sugar, and beat the contents. Beating eggs with sugar is the longest in dough preparation. If you don't feel like bothering yourself, use a mixer or blender to get things going faster.

Next, add butter and yogurt to the sugar mass. Be sure to use good, no additives, and savory. Mix the foods well.

Combine baking powder and flour in a separate bowl, and then sift the flour mixture through a sieve to other products. If you don't have a strainer, you can use a regular colander. Stir all ingredients.

Grate the zest from the lemon. Try to rub only the yellow part, not touching the white, otherwise the cake may acquire an unpleasant bitterness. Add the zest to the dough and stir.

As a result, it will take you 5-7 minutes to prepare the dough, no more. But that is not all. Now it's the strawberry turn.

Rinse the berries thoroughly under running water. Try to take the ripeest, not beaten or green. Tear off all the tails, let the water drain a little. Set aside a few whole and prettiest strawberries, and cut the rest of the berry into small cubes.

Toss the chopped strawberries into the dough. Now take a baking dish. I have it round with a diameter of 23 centimeters. You can take any other that you have. Lubricate the mold with vegetable oil.

Pour the dough into a baking pan and immediately top with a layer of strawberries. You can cut each berry in half and put it on the dough with a cut.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. No more need, the ingredients need to be baked, and not burned on the outside, but inside to remain moist.

You can check the readiness of the cake with a wooden stick. For example, you can use a toothpick or regular matches. In general, it takes about 1 hour to bake!

Remove the finished strawberry delicacy from the oven, let it cool right in the baking dish. After that, carefully remove the cake, transfer it to a beautiful dish and sprinkle with powdered sugar!

By the way, in terms of decorating the cake, you can improvise. For example, whipped cream will look great on strawberry pie. You can buy a can of ready-made or whip them yourself. If this is the case, choose the fattest cream, and it should be as cold as the dishes while whipping.
