We live in such a time that it is impossible without nervous tension. Take even the current situation with the coronavirus, which, it seems, can bring anyone to white heat. Well, how do you deal with the growing anxiety in this case? I give advice to everyone in need! Hope you find them useful!
Does this happen to you? Here, you are lying in your warm crib, everything in your life is good, and then some negative thoughts creep into your head, you lie, think, think, and that's it, started to worry. And it sometimes happens that anxiety is generally not clear where it came from, and we cannot even understand the reasons for our state. Of course, it is worth assessing, so to speak, the level of your condition. Perhaps advice from the Internet or from a friend will not help you, and it is best to seek help from a specialist?
You should not be afraid of this, no one will write you into a psycho and will not register you in the appropriate direction. Doctors can help you manage your anxiety with medication. But I will still tell you something, perhaps you can handle it without a specialist.
So how do you deal with your growing anxiety?
Identify irritants
Sometimes negative thoughts can arise from something generally insignificant. Therefore, you need to determine immediately what was the irritant, the impetus to your anxiety. Think hard. If you have made some mistake, it still does not make you a bad person, and you should not label yourself as a bad friend, irresponsible mother, etc.
Try to get out of your head what triggered your negative thoughts. Don't berate yourself.
Load yourself physically
You've probably heard that sports can help you manage stress? It's true. But, if anxiety is growing, and you do not have the opportunity to go to the gym, do physical activity at home, go for a run, do general cleaning at home, dance! After you strain yourself physically, you will no longer feel so bad from your thoughts.
Create an evening ritual
Do not silence your anxiety with your phone or TV! Of course, the constant flow of information allows you not to think about your problem, but there is no struggle with it at all. Make it a habit to stop using your smartphone and watch TV half an hour before going to bed. These half an hour should be devoted to certain rituals. For example, train yourself to wash dishes, dust, water flowers before going to bed. Take these simple manipulations into the habit, and upon completion, take a shower, brush your teeth and apply a fragrant cream to your body.
Balance your diet
Do not eat 2 hours before bedtime. It is very difficult to sleep on a full stomach. If your dinner is planned to be very dense and fatty, then try not to eat 3 hours before bedtime. Avoid caffeinated drinks in the afternoon. It's not just about coffee, but also about tea and Coca-Cola.
Get organized
To keep order in your head, you need to put it in the first place in your home. Put everything in its place and you yourself will feel relief!
Meditate
Now on the Internet you can find a lot of information about meditation. This, of course, is not easy, but what or who is stopping you from just trying? Just 15 minutes a day, and you will feel much better.
I hope my advice will help you manage your growing anxiety. But again, I repeat, if your problem is very serious, then it is better to turn to professionals. This is not at all a shame. It's a shame to endure for years and hide the existence of problems!
