The brightest holiday for us is, of course, Easter. This is the day when we gather with the people closest to us. This is a holiday when you can relax with your family. This is a mysterious family holiday that brings joy to our hearts. Today I want to talk to you about painting eggs for Easter. I would be glad if you like anything from my options and you will definitely try it!
From year to year, I almost always painted eggs with onion peels. The method is the most inexpensive, fast and simple. But then I wanted to try something more original and interesting. Now I will tell you how I decorate eggs, not only children but also adults like it!
Food coloring
Of course, you can just buy the most harmless dyes, dip eggs in them, and enjoy the result. But I propose to involve my children in decorating, and with them arrange a real creative process.
So here's what you need
- light napkins - 10 pieces;
- boiled eggs - 5-10 pieces;
- food colors of different colors;
- vinegar - 6 tablespoons;
- cotton swabs - 6 pieces;
- rubber gloves.
And now the process itself
Put on gloves first to avoid getting your hands dirty. Dilute the dyes in different containers, as it is written on the bags. Moreover, the dye can be chosen, both liquid and dry.
Add a tablespoon of vinegar to each container with dye, it is needed to fix the color. Now you need to dip a cotton swab into each container - these are our brushes for painting.
Wrap the eggs in napkins and proceed. Dip cotton swabs with different colors alternately into the napkin, as you like best. Do not feel sorry for the paint, do the stains as you please. Then remove the napkin and enjoy the beautiful stains on the egg shell.
Painting with green paint
This method is also incredibly interesting, more laborious, but children can be taken as assistants. We need not only brilliant green, but also onion husks, or you can use small leaves from trees, it will also be very original. Do not forget about gloves, and find some saucepan you don't need, after all, brilliant green paints quite persistently. By the way, before Easter, all the brilliant green often disappears in pharmacies, so you should stock up in advance.
You will need
- brilliant green solution - 1 bottle;
- onion peel;
- gauze or wide bandage;
- raw eggs - 5-10 pieces;
- rubber gloves;
- threads;
- scissors;
- pan.
Let's get started
First you need to finely chop all the onion husks. Let it be of different sizes, so beautiful. Raw eggs should be dipped in water and then rolled in onion skins. After that, place each egg in a piece of gauze so that you can collect all the ends of the gauze on top and tie it with a string. Make the knot tighter so that nothing falls apart. Just carefully, the eggs are still raw. It is better to take gauze in two layers.
Now the eggs need to be carefully folded into a saucepan so that the "tails" stick up and pour water over them. The water should cover all the eggs, and even be one toe higher. You also need to add a bottle of brilliant green, and put the eggs on the fire. You need to cook for 15 minutes, i.e. until the eggs are ready.
Untie the boiled eggs, remove the gauze from them and rinse under running water! Beauty! And, if you dry the eggs and then apply sunflower oil on them, they will shine beautifully! This method of painting is called marble!
Tell us how you paint your eggs for Easter in the comments! Maybe I'll find another interesting way for myself!
