Hello dear readers! I passed a year since I was diagnosed - diabetes type 2. During this time, I completely changed. If we recall how I was before, and compared with the current - it is two completely different people.

I live in a small town, working as a doctor in the local hospital. I treat people from a variety of diseases, instruct them to lead a healthy lifestyle, eat right and limit the bad habits. It is my duty and I am happy when my patients are doing well. Unfortunately I did not think about yourself and do not follow their way of life.

Ironically, the health did not complain and felt good. But at one point, I began to notice that vision worsened. I do not betray any special significance.

The last straw, which I finished off, became my wife's care. Divorce, carve-up of the property and frequent visits to the court. Difficult period, which completely knocked me out. Experiences escalated into a depression. Healthy Start "naughty" and I had no choice but to seek help from colleagues.

After a comprehensive diagnosis, I was diagnosed - diabetes type 2. Metabolic disorder with pathology of insulin, hyperglycemia constant.

At that moment I had almost completely broken down. It was a complete pi..ets. But something in me, "clicked". Would I want to live next? I was sick for a long time with diabetes, just found out about the diagnosis right now. You need to change something! So I decided to change completely. To prove to myself that the diagnosis does not mean anything - if there is an inner desire to live a full life.

I began with a course of drug therapy. When it became a little easier, I decided to change your diet. The day allowed to eat no more than 15 HE Refused products containing large amounts of carbohydrates. I began to eat more sweet and dairy food (cheese, yogurt), legumes (beans, peas).

I found a gym with a treadmill near the house, and "exercise bike". I began to visit him three times a week after work. Strongly not load yourself, exercise was given to me with difficulty, but I saw the goal. I wanted to get in shape. I think I succeeded. At the moment, turned to lose 13 kg.

To promote health, completely quit smoking (article: "How to quickly and easily give up smoking?") And strong drinks. I follow the status of sugar in the blood and periodically observed at professionals.

Six months ago, I met a woman who shares my interests. Without thinking began to live together. Maybe I'm old fashioned, but in the near future to propose to her. It seems life is getting better.

I want to understand everything diabetes - this is not a sentence. It's a way of life that must be controlled. I know in advance what I'm going to do tomorrow, what to do and what to eat.
