The problem of parking on the sidewalks is quite sharp for many years, and not only in the capital but also in many cities of Ukraine. This prevents traffic and creates the danger and inconvenience to pedestrians. In view of this, Ministry of Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Communal Services makes changes to the state building standards (GOS) - is now the car park on the pavements will be banned.
These additions are coordinated perfectly and will be governed new parking rules– the law "On amendments to some legislative acts to reform the field of parking of vehicles", which was recently signed by Peter Poroshenko. It is hoped that these changes will be really effective.
According to the changes of the GOS, designing roads will be carried out by the new rules - reported by the Deputy Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities of Ukraine Lev Partskhaladze. Temporary car parking will be prohibited on:
• sidewalks;
• along the roadway routes citywide importance of continuous movement;
• along the roadway routes citywide importance controlled traffic and roads of regional significance when bandwidth utilization ratio is close to 1, and the allocation of these highways separate lanes routeing transport.
Construction of new and reconstruction of old roads will be carried out in accordance with the updated rules. Consider the case of violation of the established drivers parking regulations will be representatives of the National Police.
