Today I'll show how to knit a hat for boys 12+ months. This model I came up with 15 years ago, and all the kids of my friends went to these caps. I have not lost relevance of it to this day.

We need: Melange yarn Alize bebe batik burcum (base web) Alize lana gold (bedplate caps), spokes №4-5, crochet hook № 4 (for product assembly).
The core melange yarn, which I have chosen, include acrylic 100% (the average price in Ukraine - 45-55 UAH) additionally it has been used white skein with the composition of 50% wool, 50% acrylic (the average price in Ukraine - 55-60 UAH). because I tightly knit, I "took» ½ primary coil and quite a bit of white on the bottom of the skein, and pompom hats (the remainder will be used for jackets, which will be discussed in the next time).
Knit fabric
We collect 84 loops and knit elastic band 1x1 4 rows, then we do shift of 1 loop of the figure, ie, on the site of the front provyazyvaem wrong and vice versa. We do not stop and do for pompom hats. Among the many ways I stopped on the classic version - done on the arm of her husband of two coils, carefully cut from two sides and has cut with scissors. More manufacturing scheme is as follows.
• On hand wound yarn of the two coils simultaneously. Pompons to look colorful and fun, I used a thread of two colors - white and main mélange. If you want to make a pompom was very lush - use more coils.
• When the skeins will be enough, carefully remove with a hand that has turned out and tied in the middle. On the reverse side tying once more for strength.
• Then cut and straighten, scissors modifying the shape of the ball.
