Often, my patients, who quickly shed the first extra pounds, stop at some weight. We begin to understand and most often we find a violation of the water regime.
I found interesting studyillustrating how water drastically reduces calorie intake in overweight and obese people over 55 years of age. I believe that this can be fully attributed to a younger age.
A total of 48 people aged 55–75 participated in the 12-week experiment. Both groups ate a low-calorie diet, but the first before each meal drank half a liter of water.
Three months later it turned out that the first group lost an average of 2 kg morethan the second one.
How much to drink with meals
I think this is certainly extreme. Drinking too much water before eating, we noticeably dilute the gastric juice. It recovers quickly, but it's still a waste of resources.
Therefore, I recommend before meals and in the process drink no more than a glass of water, and use the bulk of the liquid evenly throughout the day.
