Why do you need to wash them before cooking?
You have thrown so many questions about eggs that I just get a landmark work.
So let's slowly deal with this topic.
Should eggs be washed before boiling?
As a person with a developed imagination and a clear idea of where the eggs come from, I thoroughly wash them before cooking, and generally immediately, as I pick them up for cooking. This makes sense - salmonella and other muck can nest on the shell, but it cannot always penetrate inside.
And eggs are boiled not in an incomprehensible "broth", but in clean water.
But if you are just transferring the eggs for storage in the refrigerator, then in this case you do not need to wash them, they can deteriorate faster.
How long can eggs be stored?
Hard-boiled eggs keep in the refrigerator for up to two weeks, soft-boiled eggs for a couple of days.
So that store Easter eggs in the refrigerator and take out just before serving.
How many eggs can you eat at a time?
Eggs are a high-calorie product, so you should not eat more than 2 pieces.
As for cholesterol, scientists do not find a direct link between moderate egg consumption and an increase in blood cholesterol. But there is a connection between the calorie content of food and atherosclerosis.
Uncontrolled use of healthy vegetable oil (even organic, raw-pressed, bought for a lot of money) will “grow” plaques in the vessels faster and more reliably, although cholesterol does not contains.
Can you eat eggs every day?
I do not recommend. Despite the usefulness of any product, it should always be alternated with other foods. Variety is the golden rule of nutrition. There is a reasonable scientific explanation: our immune system reacts to everything that enters the body, producing certain titers of immunoglobulins (antibodies). Even for food. An extreme manifestation of the reaction of the immune system is an allergy. If the same food is ingested for a long time, titers increase, food intolerance may develop. Therefore, it is better to alternate an egg breakfast, for example, with cottage cheese.
And, of course, this rotation rule applies to all products.
