This is the story of my friend Zhanna. For a long time she lived in the capital, and we rarely saw each other very much. Even when we did manage to arrange a meeting, she never told me what was going on in her life. For everyone, she and her husband were an ideal couple, but in fact there had been no love in the family for many years.
At first everything was great. Zhanna arrived in the capital, entered the institute there, then met Kostya, and already in her last year he called her to marry. The husband was very caring, kind, responsible. But it only lasted 3 years. By the way, Kostya's parents built a nice house especially for them and Zhanna, and furnished it with all the necessary household appliances and furniture. So Jeanne's life was initially rich, she did not need anything.
Then a son was born to them. The boy had some health problems, and Zhanna had to lie with him in special sanatoriums, go to "breathe" on the sea. Once again, returning from a sea voyage, Jeanne was faced with the rudeness and coldness of her husband. From the eyes that he hid, it was clear that he had changed!
A week later, the betrayal was confirmed. The mother-in-law herself burned them! Yes, she initially reacted very warmly to Jeanne, and considered it dishonest to remain silent. Moreover, the woman herself could not fully believe that her son was so shameless. But Kostya did not deny anything, he said that he was in love, and in general he began to kick Jeanne out of the house. It is good that the father-in-law was on her side, and managed to reason with her son.
They remained to live, as before, but Kostya reminded Zhanna at the opportunity that she lives in the house built by his parents, and she is nobody in it. Everyone drove her, forcing her to leave her son. But, as it turned out later, someone else's boy was not needed by the mistress. And then the son of Kostya and Zhanna became very ill, he developed asthma. The boy was in the hospital for a long time, he was barely out. And his mother, Jeanne's parents and father-in-law were always with him. Kostya had no time, he had love. And first with one mistress, then with another, then with a third. With some he had a short affair, and with someone he lost his head, and began to break down on his wife.
But, as is often the case, children do not choose which family to be born into. Zhanna again became pregnant from Kostya, and gave birth to a daughter, and then again, and gave birth to a son. From the outside, the family looked normal. Like happy parents, happy children, a big friendly family. And only Zhanna knew the whole kitchen "from the inside", the woman endured everything, everything got away with her husband. And her parents never knew about anything, she never told them about her problems, because she did not want to worry them.
Then Kostya disappeared for a year! Zhanna alone raised three children, well, of course, her father-in-law helped. They fell in love with the woman very much, doted on their grandchildren, and felt guilty for the behavior of their son. After all, he did not allocate money for the family at all, he got loans, he probably wanted to look generous and rich before his new passion. And then he returned to his family.
Everything seems to have settled down. The husband seems to have walked up, began to spend time with the children more often, to spend the night at home. And then a tragedy happened - Jeanne's parents got into a car accident. My father died on the spot, my mother was in the hospital for only two days. Then, having buried her loved ones, Jeanne decided to file for divorce.
The husband shouted that he would not give her children, but their desire was taken into account in court, they stayed with her, and the woman also received half of the jointly acquired property, and filed for alimony. Then she inherited a house from her parents, sold it, and bought her own, big and beautiful.
I listened to Jeanne, and could not say a word, well, how could you endure, remain silent, pretend for so many years? She killed the best years of her life on this traitor.
But Jeanne says she has no regrets. Firstly, her parents were always calm, they always believed that their daughter was happy and had a good life. Secondly, if she had divorced Kostya at the age of 23, she would have had only one child, and again she would not want to associate fate with someone.
By the way, now she is dating a very good man, but she is not in a hurry to move in with him, now she is more careful about the entire male sex.
