Oh, rightly they say that someone else's family is dark. You look at a couple, everything is so smoothly and well with them, and what is happening at home, many do not even think about it. Here, for example, is the story of my old friend Tatyana. She grew up in a large family. In addition to her, her parents also have twin daughters. So now those twins don’t even want to hear about marriage, and the relationship of their parents is to blame.
Tatyana's parents created a cell of society while still students. My grandmother on my father's side was against that relationship. At first, she sent her son parcels with food and money every month, and she kept hoping that her son would settle down. He even got a bride. But he acted in his own way, the fair-haired brown-eyed "inch" was painfully sunk into his soul, and he quickly proposed to her.
But the grandmother believed until the last that her son would change his mind, even when the date of the wedding became known. The woman thought that her son would play enough and leave his beloved, but she became pregnant with Tatiana. From the moment my grandmother found out about this, any help from her stopped altogether.
My father and pregnant mother had to live in a communal apartment. There was barely enough money. The man had to work at night to feed the expectant mother. She was nervous, but he always supported her and reassured her that everything would be fine soon. Grandmother and grandfather from Tanya's mother could not help the young in any way. They had a large family, many children, they themselves barely had enough money to live on.
After Tanya was born, her father helped her mother in everything. Everything was more than normal, in any case, it began to improve. And then 4 years later, my mother became pregnant again. The twins were born, and very difficult times have come. There was not enough money for food at all, but it was necessary to clothe and put on all the children. Therefore, it was decided that the father would live with his parents for a while, and the mother with hers. And this was not without consequences.
After a while, dad managed to save up for an apartment, and he took his family to a new home. He worked, she worked knitting for kids. In the evening, everyone gathered for dinner and discussed the past day.
But over time, the relationship between the parents deteriorated greatly. Dad disappeared at work more and more often, and when his mother asked him to sit with the children, he waved them off, saying that she gave birth to them, she should sit with them herself.
When there were problems with food, dad could reproach the children for this, like they eat too much. My mother started having health problems and could not work. The father was sure that she was just a lazy person, pretending, and never believed her.
Tatyana grew up, and then only she began to notice how sad her mother was walking, and she heard a lot how she was crying into the pillow at night. It was hard for the family. Therefore, Tatyana, after graduating from school, went to work, instead of studying further. Moreover, the younger girls were growing up, they had to be fed and dressed. In general, dad's salary was not enough for anything, Tanya brought money to the family sometimes more than he did. Relations between parents generally deteriorated, they could not talk for several days. But my mother still didn’t file for divorce, because they took an oath, it’s impossible.
Many years have passed, Tatyana's parents are retired, they live in the same apartment, but they manage the household separately. But my mother still does not leave, she is very afraid of loneliness. Tanya is simply torn, because she loves both dad and mom equally. But when she comes to visit them, she has to run from room to room to pay attention to both parents.
Tatyana herself is married, she has a good husband and two boys. But her twin sisters are not in a hurry to get married, because they have seen enough of the "warm" relationship of their parents. In order not to hear scandals, and not to choose with whom to have dinner in the evening, they rented an apartment for themselves and live separately. They set themselves the goal of unlearning, finding a good job, and then building a family.
To outsiders, this family is just ordinary. Sor was never taken out of the family, if parents have to be together in public, they make themselves exemplary family men. And no one even suspects that they have long become strangers to each other.
