Polish Wroclaw is an ideal city for families with children. Here you can walk together at the largest Christmas market in Europe and look for magic gnomes

Polish Wroclaw is perhaps one of the most interesting cities to show to children for the long Christmas holidays or for an ordinary weekend. Let's start with the fact that it is near. The low-cost road from Kiev will take about 2 hours and about UAH 1000 for one round trip. It is better to check the current fares on the day of departure. In addition to the COVID certificate, you will need a fresh (within 72 hours) PCR test.

Finding hotels or renting apartments in a city of labor is not possible: Wroclaw is a tourist city, and you can find accommodation for any budget. On average, a night stay will cost UAH 1200-2000 / day. Having solved the organizational issues, draw up a program in which several points should be mandatory.

 Paragraph 1. Counting gnomes

Wroclaw is known all over the world as the capital of the dwarves for good reason: there are more than 600 of them. Small figurines made of copper alloy are scattered throughout the city: parks and squares, lampposts and courtyards, window sills and on benches - gnomes are found everywhere. And each of them is busy with "their own" business - one reads the newspaper, the other steals ice cream, the third puts the tiles, and so on.

Of course, you can buy a map of the location of the gnomes, but it's much more interesting to look for them yourself. Especially with children: the joy of "catching" each gnome will be remembered not only by children, but also by their parents.

Point 2. We go to Koleikovo

Located on the top floor of a modern Wroclaw shopping center, this museum is a miniature of a city in which everything is like real: from people to each of which has its own facial expressions, to steamers that move along the miniature Audra, and even a railway with real trailers.

Lights are lit in small windows of replicas of buildings at nightfall, and visitors can watch Wroclaw at night.

A day in miniature Wroclaw lasts 9 minutes, a night - 4 minutes. The program indicates the number of: birds, little men, gnomes, etc., which, like gnomes in Wroclaw, can be searched for.

You can spend several hours in Koleikovo, and in the next hall there is a real gingerbread country of gingerbread. As in Koleikovo, there are houses here, and its own train, and people, and even snow slides. Only made from gingerbread. The main thing is to keep the kid from trying the exhibits. True, if Koleikovo is open all year round, the gingerbread country will be open until the end of February.

Point 3. Hanging in Afrikarium

Visit the real African jungle, see the amazing water world of the Indian Ocean, admire the African animals and wonder at African snakes can and should be in the Afrikarium - the largest exposition of the African continent in Europe. More than 1000 representatives of fauna and more than 3000 representatives of flora are gathered here.

Labyrinths and passages, observation platforms and a tunnel in the aquarium - all this will impress even the most sophisticated adult, and for a child it will be the most vivid impressions and emotions. Allocate at least 3 hours of time for such a hike.

Clause 4. Walking around the fair

Wroclaw is beautiful at any time of the year, but in winter it hosts the largest Christmas market in Eurorp. Decorated houses are tempting with sweets, goodies and aromas. Walk along the streets of houses, take pictures with the heroes of Christmas stories, taste delicious Polish sweets, and adults will certainly enjoy a real Wroclaw gzhanian (mulled wine prepared according to a special recipe) from a mug-shoe - a must-see program for visiting Wroclaw on Christmas.

Cozy cafes and winding streets, monasteries and temples, houses, each of which is architectural perfection and amazing hospitality of the Poles - for this it is worth going to Wrocaw. The city, which has more than 130 bridges and 12 islands, will not leave indifferent either children or parents.
