A tucked oval, beautiful cheekbones and a well-defined chin. All you need to do is: "muffle" correctly, arrange personal spa-wraps for the neck and monitor your posture. And also - keep your mouth shut (in the literal sense).
For two years now, I have been doing three things every day that help maintain a good oval of the face and prevent the appearance of a double chin. Details below.
Mewing
This term defies deciphering, it got its unusual name from the surname of the author of the technique, hereditary orthodontist Mike Mew. To understand how Mewing works, you need to get down to business. Namely - to learn how to properly hold your tongue in your mouth.
The mewing technique is to press the upper surface of the tongue against the palate during silence.
To make it easier, I advise you to practice with hard chewing gum: you need to press it with your tongue with effort. In this case, the teeth should be closed, but not strongly compressed. To get used to this position of the tongue, you can muzzle several times a day, and gradually it will become a habit. Such training will strengthen the tongue, and its muscles, in turn, will work to transform the oval of the face and even help correct the bite.
If after the exercise you get the feeling that your throat hurts, this is normal, this happens at first.
Neck wrap
Usually we pay great attention to facial care, and forget about the neck and décolleté, although the skin there is very thin and delicate. I have a surefire way to turn back time and make up for the rejuvenation process. I take sea buckthorn oil, cling film, waffle towel and two containers for cold and hot water.
I apply oil to the décolleté and neck area, "cover" with cling film so that the skin warms up well, and the oil works better. I shoot after 40 minutes. Then I moisten a waffle towel in hot water, wring it out, grab the ends and wrap it into a tourniquet. I walk with patting movements along the décolleté and neck area. Then I do the same with a towel dipped in cold water (but not ice cold, so as not to chill my neck).
I alternate this exercise five times in a "hot-cold" format. Then I thoroughly wash off the oil with the cleanser and apply the cream. This method fights well with a double chin. In my case, the oval of the face was tightened, and the skin on the neck became elastic and smoother.
Posture exercises
The oval of the face starts from the neck and the neck starts from the posture. Without the correct position of the spine and its cervical spine, a clear oval of the face is out of the question. Pay attention to ballerinas who keep the shape of their faces until old age.
Good posture holds the face, so watch your back.
But this does not always work, especially when sitting at a laptop. Therefore, I try to find time for posture exercises every day. I spend only 5 minutes and the result is excellent.
Here are some of my favorite home workout steps:
Starting position - sitting on a gymnastic mat with arms outstretched forward. I bring my shoulder blades together as I inhale, and as I exhale I round my back. I alternate the exercise with mixing-dilution to the sides and in the upward direction. Boat and knee push-ups are also effective. They strengthen the vertebral back and abdominal muscles.
If I don't have time to do a set of exercises, then I just lie down on the roller.
Regular exercise helps to straighten posture and relieve the computer neck syndrome. As a result - a straight back and a healthy spine.
Of course, all these exercises and techniques will not make your face look sleek in an instant. They will not completely get rid of the double chin, especially if the oval has swum a lot. But they will help improve the situation and keep the face in good condition for a long time. Perhaps, to see yourself prettier and rejuvenated in the mirror is the best motivation.
