The story of my old friend Svetlana. Recently she and his friend Anton were staying with us, and she declassified about her mother-in-law. My reaction to her story has been mixed. On the one hand, I think that my friend's mother-in-law is wrong, on the other hand, it seems to me that you cannot act so harshly with people.
Anton's mom Natalya Petrovna is, in principle, a good person, but too active. While she worked, she did not interfere in the life of her son and daughter-in-law. And then she retired, and away we go. At first, for about two months, the woman enjoyed a well-deserved rest. No need to run anywhere early in the morning, no need to load yourself with work, but then she had nowhere to put her energy. Someone strikes into the garden, someone even into sports, but Natalya Petrovna chose a different path for herself. She made the decision to channel all her energy into the family of Anton and Svetlana. Although she was not even asked about it.
Svetlana and Anton have been married for four years, they have not yet acquired children. We just decided not to rush for now, and to live, as they say, for ourselves. So we lived together, all day at work, at home in the evening. Natalya Petrovna had a key to the children's apartment, and they also had one from her, just in case.
And then the surprises began. While Sveta and Anton were at work, the mother-in-law came to their apartment without warning, and began to cook, vacuum, dust, wipe things up. Okay, the guys turned a blind eye to this, well, the woman is bored, there is nowhere to put the energy, although there was little pleasant from her help. When, two weeks later, Anton and Sveta simply stopped recognizing their apartment, patience ran out. Vacuuming and dusting is one thing, but why rearrange furniture? And it is not clear where the elderly person has so much strength!
The guys could no longer find a single thing in their own house, and once they returned from work, and there are generally other curtains hanging on the windows! It's just that the mother-in-law washed the curtains, but couldn't hang them back, so she found some old ones somewhere, and hung them up. In one place on these curtains there was a trace of an iron, and they had been faded for a long time. But the mother-in-law was not embarrassed.
- Well, it's beautiful. Nice curtains! Thank God that I didn’t throw them out 5 years ago, ”Natalya Petrovna rejoiced.
Anton could no longer stand it, he asked his mother not to come while they were not at home, and not to do anything without them with his wife. And the mother-in-law agreed that it was impossible to do that, and she herself again threw out something of that kind.
When Natalya Petrovna put Sveta's makeup in the sock drawer, and there were no socks in the makeup drawer, Anton freaked out. And how could they have guessed that the mother-in-law would put them in a bag and hide them? And Sveta and her husband were even late for work that day, because they ransacked the whole house in search of socks. It was decided not to leave all this like that, but to teach the mother-in-law a lesson.
Once a week, on Thursdays, Natalya Petrovna went to the supermarket to shop. And it was on one of these days that the guys decided to take revenge on her. They came to her apartment, moved the furniture, poured her soup, poured the borscht they had brought with them into a saucepan, put sausage and cheese in the refrigerator, which Natalya Petrovna does not eat at all. And then Sveta dyed the cat's head and tail with a hair tonic. The happy crazy couple went home. And two hours later the phone rang.
It was Natalya Petrovna, she asked the guys to come to her urgently. When Sveta saw the state of her mother-in-law, she greatly regretted that she and her husband had done such a thing. I felt so sorry for the poor woman, I had to confess everything, and explain the reason for my act. And the poor mother-in-law almost went mad, fearing that she either had something wrong with her head, or she was robbed.
For a very long time Natalya Petrovna was offended and scolded the children, and then she forgave all the same. The only thing I could not forgive was for the poor cat, which walked for a long time with a red tail and head. But the guys didn’t say that it was Sveta who did it. Since that time, the mother-in-law stopped coming to the children’s house without their knowledge, and now they have everything in their place.
Do you think the revenge turned out too harsh? Of course, I laughed heartily, but for some reason I felt so sorry for Natalia Petrovna and her cat!
