The famous National Geographic magazine, which writes about the nature, travel and cultures of countries, has identified 25 places of the world that are worth visiting in 2022

The rating was compiled by the editors of the publication itself in five categories: nature, adventure, sustainability, culture and history, family. This year, a number of World Heritage Sites in honor of the 50th anniversary of UNESCO were included in the list. Ukraine also ended up in it thanks to the Danube River, which flows through the territory of 9 more countries. Experts describe boating on the river as a journey through a kingdom of fairy tales, with castles, medieval cities and stately palaces that help bring European history to life.

“The river passes through 10 European countries (Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, Moldova and Ukraine), and most Danube cruise routes include stops at at least four of them, as well as special family Cruises with the participation of children, "- this is how National Geographic explains their choice.
