Masha is already 20 years old

No matter how much criticism the cartoon "Masha and the Bear" evokes among adults, children simply adore it. Clockwork, restless and a little hooligan Masha appeals to many kids. Not least thanks to his voice: sonorous and funny, he clearly fits the character of the heroine. Few can refrain from smiling when they hear Mashin's bursting laugh.

For the first time, Masha was voiced by a six-year-old girl. Alina Kukushkina became the best Masha's voice in the entire history of the cartoon. What happened to the girl when her "trademark" voice began to mature?

Casting for Masha's voice was announced in 2008. First, the directors auditioned the children of their friends and acquaintances, then threw a cry among the workers of the film studio. Even adult actors were tried, but the desired voice was still not found. The Moscow advertiser Irina Kukushkina found out about the tests and brought her little daughter to the film studio. Alina at that time was only six years old, and therefore they looked at the girl with skepticism. However, after the audition, the directors refused all other candidates: Alina's voice hit the nail on the head.

The girl turned out to be very talented: she voiced her heroine with literally several takes. Mom said that here not only the voice, but also the character coincided: Alina from the very childhood was the same perky and restless, so she did not need to "get used to the role". The only problem was that the girl could not laugh “on demand,” but the directors quickly found a way out. When Mashin needed laughter, her mother tickled Alina, and ringing laughter was recorded on tape.

Alina ran to work as if it were a holiday. She voiced 30 episodes of the cartoon without any problems: it took only half an hour to record one episode. However, from time to time you will not go anywhere. The girl grew up, and her voice also grew older. In the second part of the series, the sound technicians had to process Alina's voice acting to make the voice "more childish". The directors announced the casting again, but now there were clear requirements: the new Machine's voice had to exactly match the old one.

It took almost six months to find a new candidate. Alina "held out" the cartoon to episode 52, but a replacement was found. She turned out to be Varvara Sarantseva (she voiced the third and fourth seasons of the cartoon), and Alina was made the director of dubbing. She helped her successor and gave her instructions. In parallel, Alina voiced Dasha - Car's sister. In total, the girl's work on the project lasted for 10 years.

With such a colossal experience, it was not difficult for Alina to find another job. While voicing Masha, she became the voice of Agnes from the feature-length cartoon Despicable Me. Then she worked in the voice acting of such cartoons as "Giraffe", "House of Dreams", "I Want It Like You" and "Norm and the Indestructible." In addition, the girl tried herself in the role of an actress: in 2014 she starred in the romantic comedy "9 Days and One Morning". However, Alina does not want to connect her life with cinema, because she considers the acting profession to be very fickle.

Now "the first Masha" is already 20 years old, she is studying at the university and plans to work in the field of advertising and television. However, it is recognized that the voice acting of the popular heroine left a big imprint on her life. Firstly, from an early age, she learned to work and earn money (for the first fee, Alina fulfilled an old dream and bought herself a dog), became more organized. Secondly, I realized that work should be enjoyable.
