Hello my beauties!
Today's material will be of interest primarily to those on whose eyebrows Mother Nature has greatly saved. And for those who are already tired of constantly tint their eyebrows and are thinking about permanent make-up, but are afraid. Indeed, on the street sometimes with such comical eyebrows you will meet, drawn on a ruler, that it is better to leave everything as it is.
Let's talk today about microshading. This is a new permanent makeup technique. More precisely, they started talking about it 3 years ago, and our masters got their hands on it in this technique this year. There are already some pretty good works.
What is the essence of micro-shading?
The master makes many, many small points (called pixels) in the gaps between the hairs, but does not completely paint over.
The result is a natural shadow effect and smooth shaded lines. Like they just dyed their eyebrows. By the way, the inexperienced eye confuses well-done microshading with the usual tinting of eyebrows with shadows or powder.
Microblading vs. microshading: which is better?
It is very foolish to compare two different techniques that solve completely different problems.
Microblading is essentially small cuts where pigment is added to create well-defined hair contours. But "drawing" the hairs is not enough. It is necessary to create density and shadows to look natural.
Therefore, many small dots are packed (microshading): the closer to each other, the darker the area becomes. If there are few points and are located a little further from each other, a smooth transition, a gradient is obtained.
Maybe someone remembers, on old phones, screensavers and games were drawn with a pixel of the same color. Volume and shadows were conveyed in one color. This is how the naturalness of the eyebrows is created with microshading, but the hairs are drawn with microblading.
Together, both techniques give excellent results. I have already published a post on the channel with an example of combining microblading with microshading on a 70+ client. Many agreed that the result was amazing, the eyebrows turned out like family.
Pros of microshading
1) looks natural;
2) Ideal for oily and sensitive skin, trauma is minimal unlike microblading;
3) the result lasts up to 3 years, provided that you do not apply AHA and BHA acids to the eyebrow area, and also do not stay in the active sun for a long time. Owners of oily skin are advised to renew retouching once a year;
4) "flexible setting": you can choose any shade with a wizard, its saturation (translucent to high saturation);
5) combined with microblading gives the result of natural thick eyebrows.
Cons of microshading
1) you will have to carefully study the portfolio of masters, microshading is jewelry work, not conveyor. Although our masters have mastered it, only a few have steep results;
2) it still hurts, no matter who says anything;
3) the real color of the eyebrows and in general you will see the result in about a month (all individually), it will not heal quickly.
How is it going
You come to the master unpainted. You sit and endure for about 2-3 hours. After that, you cannot wet your eyebrows and sweat for at least a day. There are contraindications, but the master will tell you about this better than me.
In general, the beauty industry does not stand still. And if yesterday they laughed at the eyebrows-logs, now you can get eyebrows more natural than those of Audrey Hepburn. The main thing is to find a good brow master.
