After this, the friend did not go to the manicure for a very long time, thinking that she really was somehow not like that, and she needed to hide her hands from people. She literally developed a complex.

The very last thing is to go over the person's appearance, which we do not choose. Craftsmen who don't understand this are better off staying away from people altogether. They lack not only a sense of tact, but professional skills that interfere with working with any nails / hair, etc.

My "favorite". This is the way I weed out the masters, because sometimes they cannot stop criticizing your previous master. A professional should improve his skills and not waste time analyzing and belittling the work of his colleagues.
The incident happened to me, though a very long time ago. I came to the hairdresser's salon on a recommendation, and a girl sits down in the next chair to another hairdresser. The master examined her hair and began the song for the whole salon with a ton of criticism to the hairdresser, who had previously cut the girl's hair. Say, it's crooked here, it's oblique here, your hair is generally stained and spoiled, what kind of cheap paint you have on your hair.

Whatever professional activity I come across, there are always supposedly masters of their craft who belittle the work of other masters. And absolutely all such squabbers and critics did not achieve anything: neither their own salon, nor victories in professional competitions, nor certificates for teaching new techniques. All this was achieved by those whose work was belittled, but there was no time for all these toxic battles.
3. Discussing clients in front of other clients
For me, this is generally a taboo. If I suddenly hear that some master is discussing his clients, and even not in the best light, then I will definitely never appear with him. After all, when discussing her other clients, she will discuss you the same way.
Okay, if it's a manicure or hairdresser, but if the depilation master discusses how he made a deep bikini for a client and he didn't like something?! After the master, who has no subordination at all, not only all the other employees of the salon will know about your bikini, but also the clients who were there at that moment.
The work and "shortcomings" of clients should not go beyond the office. Otherwise, you are not professional enough, and you better not work with people.
Now it is very easy to weed out such masters with the help of TikTok. A new trend helps in this, where the masters belittle clients during the procedure, ridiculing their behavior.
4. Rubbing into friends for a client, excessive talkativeness
I hate it when masters, doctors or anyone else starts talking to me on "you". Further communication with us will not work out right away and I will not visit such a specialist, even if he is super-cool.
Even when I come to a master who is obviously younger than me, the appeal will always be "you", and I ask for the same attitude to myself. Let's keep the chain of command, my dears.
On the same topic, I will include the masters who begin to get into personal matters, ask about work, children, etc. I can't stand talkative masters / taxi drivers / doctors / sellers in principle. The master must understand that not all people like to chat during the procedure, someone wants to be silent and the maximum is to discuss the color of the varnish and the shape of the nails.
Blind work cannot be done, and chatter is distracting and can negatively affect the result of the craftsman's work.
5. To point out to the client that it is not well-groomed
Dear Masters! Stop telling clients about dry feet or cracked heels, for example, if you are a pedicure master. For this, they came to you to solve the problem.
Stop scolding clients for allegedly untidiness that they themselves cannot cut their toenails. After all, you, like no one else, should understand that the wrong cut of the nail can lead to ingrowth and not very pleasant consequences.
The same applies to beauticians who criticize the skin of their clients, who came to them for help.
After such masters, people begin, for example, to do a manicure before a manicure, which only complicates the work. And some even stop visiting beauty salons, so as not to hear a portion of criticism that may pour from the lips of the master.
