Faced with such a notion of dementia, that type of person will act like a fool and endlessly have fun. And if he does, it is more likely that he fell out of the window.
In fact, brothers, everything is worse there. Dementia is not fun, but progressive death of brain cells. When different parts of your brain begin to die, it will not only affect memory and the ability to solve charades, but most of the body will stop working.
The muscles will weaken and you will no longer be able to run or jump out of the window. It will even be difficult to roll over in bed. From this there are bedsoresthat can become infected and kill their owner.
The same immobility predisposes to the appearance of blood clots in the veins. Such blood clots can block the pulmonary arteryand the blood will stop flowing to the lungs.
Control over the bladder and bowels will be lost. This will not only get dirty, but it can also start an infection in the urinary tract. From such an infection, a weak person can easily die.
As dementia progresses, the patient loses the ability to eat on his own, and then he will not even be able to swallow. Due to impaired swallowing, it easily develops severe pneumonia.
Gradually, those parts of the brain that are responsible for blood circulation and respiration will fail. Blood pressure will drop, hands and feet will be cold, and breathing will be impaired and intermittently stopped. At this stage any acute illness can kill a person with dementia.
Gradually, everything gets worse, and the patient will stop breathing. This is the natural ending of dementia. But I have not seen this, because most patients die in the first 5 years from any complications.
