Egypt remains the most budgetary and therefore the most popular destination for a beach holiday in December for our citizens. True, this month the weather is no longer as comfortable for relaxation as in October or November. With the beginning of winter in Egypt, the season of winds begins, which blow almost throughout the country. Therefore, for recreation, it is worth choosing resorts that are, at least in the slightest degree, but protected by mountains. From this point of view, Sharm El Sheikh, El Gouna and Dahab are best suited for beach relaxation. These resorts have many bays surrounded by mountains that provide shelter from the cool winds while swimming in the sea.

On average, the air temperature in Egypt in December is + 24-25 degrees during the day. But this figure also depends on the resort. It is warmest in the resorts of the Sinai Peninsula (Sharm el-Sheikh and Dahab), but in Hurghada and on the western coast of the Red Sea it will be cooler (+20 degrees during the day). However, the seas are still well warmed up and are suitable for swimming. The water temperature in all major resorts of Egypt in December does not drop below +22 degrees.

Best of all, the sea is warmed up in the resorts of the Persian Gulf: in Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Ajman and Ras Al Khaimah, the sea will be warmed up to +24 degrees. But swimming with children in the Ottoman Gulf will not be very pleasant: the water temperature in December there does not exceed +20 degrees. Therefore, those who fly to Fujairah need to choose hotels that have several heated pools. It is worth taking an umbrella to Fujairah and Abu Dhabi: although it rains infrequently in the UAE in December, it can be protracted and "steal" 1-2 days of rest from you.

Eternal summer with mild and even weather reigns here all year round: the air warms up to + 30-33 degrees during the day and +25 at night, and the water in the Indian Ocean stably stays at +28 degrees. A vacation in Zanzibar is like the paradise vacation in the old Bounty ad: piercing blue water, white powdery sand and lush palm trees. Dominican Republic
