Old clothes in the capital can be returned to the Kindness Basket. There are containers for receiving such things in 6 districts of the capital. Where else can you bring unnecessary things? List of addresses
Almost every woman has a desire to send half of her wardrobe to the landfill a couple of times a year. We all have things that are out of fashion, have lost their appearance after washing, or just don't fit. Something can be sent for rework, for example, sewn from old jeans new bag or skirt for daughter. But most old things are only good for taking out in the trash can. Do not rush to resort to such drastic measures. Clothes and shoes that you don't need may still serve someone else. Take unnecessary things to the container for receiving unnecessary things: such "Kindness baskets" are now in six districts of Kiev.
Containers for clothes in Kiev: address list
Only old clothes and shoes are handed over to the Kindness Baskets / photo kyivmaps.com
To date, the Kindness Basket charitable foundation has installed 23 containers in the capital to receive unnecessary clothes and shoes. You can take any things there: for adults and for children, in good condition and completely worn out. The organizers of the fund donate things that are suitable for reuse to orphanages and nursing homes, and distribute to low-income families. But shabby and shabby clothes and shoes are sent for recycling.
The containers are open around the clock, so you can bring your belongings there at any time. Nobody stands "at the reception", so clothes and shoes can be returned in any form. However, there is an unspoken "rule of etiquette" for returning used items: clothes must be washed and shoes washed or at least wiped from dirt on the soles. So take some time and get your old wardrobe ready for your new life. People who sort things will be very grateful to you.
Finding Baskets of Kindness is quite easy: these are branded white and blue containers with a logo on which clothes and shoes are drawn. If the weight of your bags with things exceeds 10 kg, you do not need to take them anywhere: the organizers of the fund promise to come for them themselves. To do this, you need to leave a request on the website e-kram.com.ua: they will contact you and take things right from home (it's free). Please note that books, accessories, bedding, textiles and household appliances are not accepted here. Where you can turn in such unnecessary things is written below.
