The last month of the year has 31 calendar days. Of these, 20 days will be working days, and 11 days off. For almost the entire December, the Ukrainians will work strictly according to the work schedule. The only additional day off falls on Catholic Christmas, which is celebrated on December 25. This date falls on Saturday, so the legal day off is postponed to Monday, December 27th. So we will rest for three days, from the 25th to the 27th inclusive. There won't be many church holidays in December. One of the most important dates for Orthodox Christians this month is considered Introduction to the temple of the Most Holy Theotokos (December 4). According to church canons, it was on this day that Mary was brought to church to serve the Lord. At that time, the girl was only three years old.
