A resident of Transcarpathia, Alexander Meke, has not had a haircut since birth, and by the age of 13, his hair has grown to a phenomenal length of 1 m 7 cm. In his hometown of Vinogradovo (Beregovsky district of the Transcarpathian region), Alexander Meke has been a local celebrity since childhood. He had not had a haircut since birth, so the boy went to kindergarten and school with a scythe. It was so unusual that people on the streets often confused him with a girl. And at school, Sasha at first felt discomfort and increased attention from classmates and teachers.

At first, Sasha just did not want to get a haircut, and then he set himself a goal: to get into Ukrainian Book of Recordsas the owner of the longest male head of hair. To do this, it was necessary to break the previous record, which was set by a resident of Drohobych Arthur Pokos (hair length 104 cm). The boy succeeded at the age of 13: by this age, Alexander's hair had reached a length of 107 cm.

Caring for such a hairstyle required a lot of effort: Sasha's mother washed her hair, braids were braided by the whole family - when my mother was busy, her father and sister helped.
