It turned out to be a popular bike. Like if you overuse caffeine, it will squeeze out the adrenal glands to the point that there are no more hormones left in them.
This is, of course, nonsense. Caffeine does not act on the adrenal glands, but on our head. If the head then makes the adrenal glands secrete adrenaline, then this is no worse than if we were worried or psyched.
Some people are chronically under stress in which the adrenal glands secrete a lot of hormones. And nothing. The adrenal glands are coping. The more nervous we are, the more hormones the adrenal glands release. This is fine.
It is believed that depleted adrenal glands were invented by people with depression and other psychological problems. All this apathy, weakness, chronic pain, for which it is impossible to find a cause, will quite pass for symptoms of a mental disorder.
They began to talk about problems with the head after various laboratory tests did not find a decrease in the level of adrenal hormones in such people.
But those people didn't give up. They demanded to do a lot of repeated tests, and even came up with the idea that they have such a delicate body that standard tests cannot detect a slight drop in hormone levels.
In fact, adrenal hormone levels vary widely and many times throughout the day. So there is no point in inventing any nonsense.
There really are problems in the adrenal glands that are called adrenal insufficiency. We discussed them with you, but this is a separate story with different real symptoms.
Have you heard such a story?
