The girl was rescued by fishermen and handed over to the police. However, the parents were unhappy with this turn of events. It turned out that the intervention of outsiders thwarted the psychological experiment on the child.
The parents decided to send their daughter into "exile" for a reason. A year before that, she dropped out of school, stopped communicating with people and spent almost all of her time in her room. She did not help her parents, did not go out into the street, and only ate at home and immediately returned to her place.
Transitional crisis there, and the girl was taken to a psychologist. The doctor chose the "survival game" as therapy. Allegedly in order to unleash the child's potential and teach him to cope with difficulties in extreme conditions.Surprisingly, Mom and Dad accepted the rules of a strange game. They brought their daughter to a small uninhabited island, which is 4200 km from her home and a kilometer of water from any human habitation. The child was left with water and biscuits for the first time. Then she had to get food on her own. She did not even have matches with her to make a fire, reports the China Press.
Two days later, the girl turned to the fishermen for help, who moored on the island. They reported the child to the police, and they contacted the parents. During interrogation, both mother and father categorically refused to admit their guilt. They insisted on the need for such an educational process and believed that the daughter was ready for him, because before exile she was advised by an expert on survival. Only at the insistence of the police was the daughter taken home. At the same time, her father noted that in two days on the island, she "matured significantly."
